Re: MyMagic+

Anybody see this? Thoughts? I sympathize with the commenter who said: What if my third Fastpass+ selection is an evening show, like Wishes? Because they're requiring all 3 selections to be used before a new one can be chosen, no one who chooses an evening event for one of their fastpasses will be a...

Re: Another MagicBand question

There's still a limit on how many people can ride based on "rider density" because they're not going to shut the ride off, waiting for enough people to fill a boat on PotC, for example. I think that's what you were saying, BenB, but I wasn't sure. Yup, that seems like it. I just mean if a...

Re: Another MagicBand question

It still is a finite number, since any level of use is still a hard limit and they can't up max rider capacity with the flip of a switch. Hence why they are big on you booking 2+ months in advance. Even if you do not use 100% of it, you still know you can only have X number of riders per day. Two s...

Re: Another MagicBand question

Being able to lock-down returns and track flow is nice but I am still not sold on the claim that it increased the number of riders for anything since that is a finite number. It's a finite number, except when the attraction isn't being used to capacity. If they're able to increase the amount of tim...

Re: Another MagicBand question

Which days in June do you plan on being down there? That will make a big difference. Also, there are only a few major events going on during June. g** Days will be happening June 5-8 and Star Wars Weekends are the first 3 weekends in June, starting with the May 30-June 1 weekend. So if you are goin...

We no longer have as much control over the timeframe, being so far away with kids in school. But I remember those days and they were nice. :)

Eh. I might have bought them if they were $5 or less, but $13 each? No thanks. We'll use the tickets.

Re: Another MagicBand question

Thanks for all the good answers. I don't care enough to call about it; I was just curious and we'll find out when we get there. If they're passing them out for APs now, I'll probably get one when I activate mine. The rest of my family just gets tickets (we get one AP for parking and discounts... plu...

Another MagicBand question

So we're heading down there in June, not staying on property so we got regular card tickets. Does anyone know if those can be traded in for the MagicBands if we want to, once we arrive? Mine is an Annual Pass redemption. Are those on MagicBands or still cards? (My concern is if I get a band, my 4 an...

Re: DisneyQuest Questions

Once you get into Disney Quest, do you pay for each game or is everything free, or some combination? I've never been in there either but we might check it out this year.

They already do, albeit briefly. Ellen's Energy Adventure, right after the coal train about 30 minutes in.

Re: Imagination Pavilion News

Captain E/O is just an embarrassment. But, we do enjoy the jumping fountain. I just think Disney can do better than this-C'mon it's a world wide organization and they put a movie that's 30 years old in the park?!? It's stuff like that I can't understand. For instance, Soarin, You couldn't make a So...

Re: Special Dietary Needs Options

Disney is opening a healthy snack food option in New Fantasyland that is similar to the one in Animal Kingdom. It will be called Prince Eric's Village Market. I figured they would be adding similar kiosks in the various parks. There is definitely a desire and a need for such food options. I'd just ...
