Re: Walt Disney Imagineering Books

The imagineering field guides were interesting. Magic Kingdom was my favorite one, the books are under $10 on Amazon. They are short and picture heavy but informative. I would love to read something more indepth if its out there. I will look up the books already listed.

Re: Is it insane to + Days just because Hubby leaves early?

I would go with his plan to fly back IF he can get some sleep before you all drive home. I would worry about someone falling asleep driving home. (My Dh would do the same thing, I can fly down there and stay as long as I want. But if I am driving a distance he has to be there. Whatever!)

Re: I have only ......... days/months till I go again.

142 days. We have changed from a 30% room discount to free dining at ASMu and then paying to upgrade to the regular dining plan. Have all the ADRs we want but the candle-light processional, I keep checking daily for that ADR.

Re: The Sorcerer's Hat - good, bad, or feh?

I don't think it's ugly - just misplaced. It's just wrong where it is. I would recommend moving it to somewhere else where it fits, like the animation courtyard or re-purpose as the entrance to Fantasmic. It served its purpose where it is now along time ago, just do something else with it now. I th...

Re: Escape the Heat (Each Park)

I agree about pirates being one of the best to cool off. It is always chilly down there, and Muppets 3-d at HS is a nice cool place and great for a nap if its at the end of your vacation!

Re: Do you stay at a Disney resort? Why or Why Not?

We stay onsite. Disney makes it so easy to turn our vacations into an almost all inclusive package so we do it. We take ME from the plane, stay at AKL, buy the dining plan and let Disney drive us around. We love the ease of our vacations this way!

Re: Best Steak Restaurant???

Dh would tell you Yachtsmans is better than Le Cellier but Dh will take what he can get. Thats why he gets Le Cellier everytrip and we have only been able to do Yachtsman once. I want my ice wine and Creme Brulee and Dd likes the menu better. He also says the surf and turf (and part of my regular fi...

Re: Disney to sell annual pass good for all its U.S. theme p

That would be very tempting it you lived more middle of the states to even out your airfare. I would buy one in June for WDW and then go to Disneyland in early May or something. We have bought the annual pass before when we planned two longer trips not quite a year apart.
