Re: Changes Coming to Pinocchios Village Haus

It's nice that they're adding something that's not going to completely blow the budget and doesn't include characters for those of without young children! The fun thing about this location (If I'm remembering correctly) is that some of the tables overlook the loading zone for Small World.

Re: Really good at WDW but first time at Disneyland! Any tip

Question on World of Color! You can still see it from other places around the park, or you really need a FP? What rides tend to run out of FP, if any? Roger on single rider lanes for Radiator Springs. You don't NEED a FP to see WoC but the places where you might watch it will have obstructed views....

I don't remember the projected reopening date for the new theming of that area. Do you? Summer makes sense.

Re: Really good at WDW but first time at Disneyland! Any tip

The only thing I would do on Paradise Pier that hasn't been suggested is California Screaming, assuming it's not closed for its re-theming. I would also make sure to spend time in Carsland and Buena Vista Street in general, just wandering around. The Monsters, Inc. ride is a lot of fun, too. Roger R...

Re: Flights of Wonder Closing

I've never seen this specific raptor show either, so I can't tell you if it's a "must see" before it closes. But I can tell you there are a lot of very good raptor shows out there that teach you a lot of great things about them. Disney doesn't have the corner on the market, so if you don't...

Re: Disney After Hours Ticket 2016

Just saw the ticket prices for 2018 ~ $119/person. Still not worth the extra 3 hours for me...unless I win the lottery...and even then, probably not https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/events-tours/magic-kingdom/disney-after-hours/ No, no, no, no, no, no.... If you win the lottery, you're supposed to...

Re: California is more expensive than... China?!

There is no way of getting around high prices when planning a Disney vacation in the US. I don't know anything about prices at the other parks so I won't comment on that. Looks like some of the ticket prices are much lower, though. Having said THAT... Unless I was given some kind of crazy deal or fr...

Re: DLR in One Day Advice??

A few late additions: Agree about Trader Sam's. It's a great way to end your Disney day. If you have EE, go to that park first and hop over at Rope Drop to the other park. Grab a Fastpass on your way out. We love the corn dogs at Disneyland - either the Corndog Palace or the Little Red Wagon. Other...

Re: 2018 WDW Marathon Weekend

I know traffic has been light in these parts lately, but I figured I would see if anyone is running any races in January for Marathon weekend...?? Somehow I got tricked ? swindled? into running the full by someone near and dear to me (no, not my wife--even she said 'no thanks'!). Not quite sure who...

Uh oh. There was a draft? I never check my Yahoo email anymore as it's overfilled with spam and nothing good. Thus I didn't know we were drafting or that I was even being given a team. Sorry Len and all. Hubby and I will take a look and then see what we can do. I lucked out because I had switched m...

Re: Character Meet and Greets

A little off topic but my older daughter's boyfriend is in France, in the town of Nancy, to teach English for the school year. His apartment is super tiny, with the only furniture being a twin sized bed and a small table and chair. No oven, just two electric burners, no microwave or room for one, an...
