I heard that Pirates is going to be closed for rehab for a couple of weeks in September, supposed to open back up on the 30th. Do they ever finish these things early?? The US 101 and I-405 interchange is routinely ranked as the worst bottleneck in the country and I gotta get thru it to get from home to DL.

I'm about 225 miles north of DL. A mere 4 hour drive without traffic...so more like 6 hours on an average traffic day.

I should probably get a trip to DL on the calendar soonish...I wanna see the Jubilee stuff but not til after the craziness of the summer crowds are gone. Maybe a mid week October..even though I'll have just gotten home from a week at WDW. But you can never have too many Disney trips planned, right?
