I'm curious; maybe someone who's a semi-regular at DLP can answer this as I've never been. Are the crowds large enough to warrant buying fastpasses? I'm not familiar with crowd levels at the Paris parks enough to know, but I can see how it'd be attractive at WDW (and, from what I've read, TDL). I gu...

For just one day, not to bring back permanently? Hmm. I have good memories of my final rides on Toad and on Horizons. I don't think I'd want them back just for a day. Seems like that'd cheapen things somehow. For one day, I'd pick 20,000 Leagues. I didn't get as much finality with that one as with t...

When we saw the Horseman last year, he was cantering. It's possible he goes faster or slower depending on the weather. I know they don't ride at all if it's even the least bit wet out. From what I understand, the rider isn't really in control either - which is why the cast members are so ferocious i...

They had some decent candy when we went last October. There was still a fair amount of "I don't know what this is/have no desire to break my teeth" stuff mixed in, but there were mini chocolate bars and such as well. We also got heaps of it. Without even hitting every candy station, I'm pr...

I would hope that with the country in its current economic state, Disney would realize the importance of not appearing too greedy. Agreed, though they historically don't do a good job of realizing that, either. Just as a guess, I suspect they'll increase them a small percentage to 'maintain price i...

I find it especially sickening that these were foster parents (and that the woman was a school counselor, apparently). I don't know. I grew up going to Disney, we would go almost every weekend and it was never safe enough that my parents would trust us to be alone. We even had signals that my parent...

I almost always go counterclockwise from Canada if we're just walking around, but we do go both ways (sounds kinky..) if we're headed for a particular destination, based on whichever is closer.

WOW! Where in the world have I been?! I've never noticed the building that houses Soarin OR my most fav. attraction, ToT!!! Geez! I guess Disney was hoping I didn't notice and I sure didn't!!!! Same here! I've never noticed ToT or the Soarin' building. I wonder if it was just luck that the T...

They lost me at the good camera angels and good audio. If it was spontaneous, then the quality should have been much worse. I have to say I was amused they figured the multiple cameras part was believable. Mind you, I know several people who 'fell for it', so to speak, so maybe I'm just overly cyni...

The one other 'plus' about August that I neglected to mention in my other post is that because the crowds are lower than the other 3 choices, you could offset the heat issue somewhat by taking breaks mid-day and hitting the pool and still be able to see most of what you want to see. If you're counti...

That Wal-Mart pic should be the mascot for this thread.

Excellent comparison pictures for Morocco/TOT, though. Good finds.

Wow... those are all busy times, depending on what exactly you mean by Thanksgiving Holiday and Christmas Holiday. I second boilerbabe's thoughts; the first few weeks of December are (relatively) uncrowded and you get the benefit of the Christmas decorations being up. If you're working around their ...
