We're heading to Disneyland in February and can't seem to find any parades. Does anyone know when the new Disneyland parade starts (or soft opening??)? Also, what happened to the Pixar Play Parade? Hope it's not gone for good!

As the Disney Christmas Day parade approaches, I have a question for those of you with insider knowledge. Why doesn't Disney hire a real Santa? You know, real beard, etc. They're really so much more enchanting than the obviously fake Santa seen each year on TV.

I'm looking for reviews of Tangled! It sounded a bit, well, not exciting to me. Too modern, and no real interest in the story line. I hope I'm wrong!

So is there any way to see the fireworks without being a part of the party? It doesn't sound like it, but though I'd check for the future...the party prices are a bit steep. I still think it's unfair to block everyone who can't afford the party from the fireworks, but I'll just go eat a bit of Hallo...

I think the reason why they have never done more w/ Mary Poppins is that they had a heck of a time making the movie b/c the author was not very flexible. I've heard this too. Perhaps now that she's no longer with us (wow, old tyme Carousel of Progress moment) Disney will start thinking about a Mary...
