Just reviving this thread to see what people think of the bar inside Carthay. I tried it a while back, and thought the atmosphere was cool, but haven't been back in a while. Anyone else try it out recently?

My wife hates my fascination with getting the largest tree possible for the room, so I live vicariously for large trees like this. :lol: if you've got the space it seems a shame not to fill it! Chicago traffic looks like every other city's traffic. Must have been ugly driving right after Thanksgiving.

We ate at Artist's Pointe last month....it was very good. I had the scallops which were excellent. I have to say though, since we were staying at the Wilderness Lodge, it was almost anticlimactic to be eating in our own hotel. haha I think it is always a fun adventure to travel to a different hotel...
