I love the floating Leota crystal ball. This actually took some of it away from me, as I could see the wires and even the apparatus for moving her. You could always see the wires on the other floating objects too, but seeing them on the centerpiece of the whole room is more distracting then seeing ...

I'm surprised so many people are sad about the French Market losing the Fried Chicken. For my money, Plaza Inn's Chicken is twice as good as French Market's, and you get a lot more bang for your buck.

While visiting Disneyland this May, early on Sunday morning I was near Small World and came upon the Dream Team handing out Dream Fast Passes. When they presented me with a Dream Fast Pass I was so thrilled that I did not realize they are only good for the day issued. I was speechless. My daughter ...

....oooo I hadn't actually thought of the complainers. :? The complainers are actually the thing that impacted me (and my wife, she worked in stores) the most. Being backstage is pretty fun, and yes the corporate side of Disney is a "corporate side", but you go in realizing that. Hearing ...

The tiki room is the weirdest thing ever. I HATE IT. :x I used to be indifferent about it, but for the last year or so my wife and I have gone every visit. I guess you learn to appreciate it more as you get older? I think at least some of the lure now has to be the historical aspect of it, and how ...

Rocket Jets all the way. The high up placement and the themeing as a space shuttle or rocket were awesome. I really liked the nose cones as well :)

The problem isn't with young kids in strollers, that would just be insane. The problem is that parents get strollers for older kids. If a child is 10 they should be walking. http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v319/tankexmortis/Smileys/th_Silly_avatar_by_Dicx.gif I need to put that smiley after every...

sounds like darth vader and dark maul are both live pinyatas. i feel sorry for the people who have to wear the costumes. :( The Jedi Masters actually to a good job of watching the kids to make sure they don't get too aggresive and the kids are actually all very respectful. I haven't once seen Vader...

I've played and completed the storylines (and most of the extra missions) for all the GTAs since III (Vice City, San Andreas, Vice City Stories, etc.), and IV just didn't do it for me. The missions are basically the same as they always have been, and the gameplay is mostly unchanged (with some addit...

On the personal side; "Baroque Hoedown" from MSEP, is the one that jumps into my head whenever I'm thinking about the parks :) . Me too. Nothing is more quintessentially Disneyland than this. I even have it as my ringtone (along with a bunch of other Disney stuff like the Pirates Banjo, t...

We purchased a deluxe last year and were able to take three week long trips with it, (two last summer and we just returned from our third last night). For us yes it was worth it. We saved 10% on the food purchases, and after doing the math we figured it cost us around thirteen dollars a day per per...

Great thread. I have been wondering if I would be happy if I moved to California and worked part time at DLR. Disneyland is where my heart is and I think I would really love interacting with guests and being a part of the magic, but I would not want to ruin that magical connection I have with the p...

Definitely, I'd make reservations as soon as you're able. A while ago my family and I made reservations about a week before arriving and there were only 4 spots open between 11a and 4p.
