Well, you were lucky. We too, were at WDW 6 times during 90, 91 & 92. Then once a year during 93, 94. 95.96 & 97. The early 90's visit was during Desert Storm. Which I could understand but checking a little boy with cancer.... :mickey:

We were at WDW in the early 1990's when security was checking most everyone that walked through the gates. My young son had cancer and was in a wheelchair. Security stopped us and went through our bags! Now, don't get me wrong I can appreciate the fact they want a 'safe' experience for all. But, I w...

I have a very literal PET peeve!! Years ago we took our Shih Tzu, Norman Bates, to WDW. Since we are just average people we couldn't take Norman to our room. He had to stay in the WDW kennel. The Cast Memebers were GREAT with Norman. They would play with him. But, it seems some of the other guests d...

I have several favorite moments with Disneyland and WDW. My first visit to WDW was in 1979. We took our daughter, Catherine, who was 2 years old to the Magic Kingdom. Back then that was only park. Catherine was awe stuck but so was her mumma! Seeing the joy in her young eyes was so magical. We retur...

Hands down, the Wilderness Lodge! :D Although, we started out in All Star Music (which we were grateful for in order to get off 192), we were so excited the first time we upgraded from there to Wilderness Lodge! And if you've never eaten at the Whispering Canyon Cafe, it was a blast! I rode the hors...

I grew up on Disney music as a kid, but that was back in the days that you had to listen to your record player. So it was limiting as to what you could actually listen to. Then when my kids were growing up, at least we could get the soundtrack cassettes and records from WDW. But with this, th...
