Re: Who else misses Horizons at EPCOT Center?
I think what was so awesome about EPCOT Center originally is that everything tied together in Future World so nicely. The Living Seas tied into the underwater cities in Horizon's, the Space living in Horizon's tied into Spaceship Earth, Living with the Land in the Land area tied into the Desert Far...

Re: Too much Frozen?
I kind of think there is too much Frozen but as intelligently stated previously for those that don't get to visit that often you have to feed the masses. And Frozen is STILL a huge hit. Plus they have done some amazing stuff. I mean the stuff they did at Hollywood Studios was pretty amazing. I agree...

Re: Jungle Cruise jokes
I too love the watch your head joke. They are all so cheesy and that's what makes them all so good. I love the Headsalesmen spiel as well. I also love the if you had a good time my name is ***** and if you didn't my name is ****. I also heard once a skipper telling us as we were redocking that the r...

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?
MK-I won't ride Astro Orbitor (It's just another Dumbo and Flying Carpet to me just higher, blah), EPCOT-Won't ride Mission Space, we rode it early in it's life and my wife wasn't feeling too hot after, and it didn't impress me that much. And I can't stand The Journey Into Imagination ride or whatev...

Re: What is your favorite line to wait in and why?
Everytime I try to answer these kind of questions my head almost exploades. So like usual I have to break it down by parks. MK-I'm with everyone else that the POTC que really gets you in the mood. I also really like Big Thunder Mountain's updated que. It really makes me feel like I'm in the old west...

Re: Which attraction will you never get sick of?
Its fun to answer these kind of questions because sometimes over the years answers may change. It's hard to pick one though so I'll try to narrow it down to at the most two or three from each park: MK: Haunted Mansion, TTA, Mickeys Philharmagic EPCOT: The American Adventure, Soar'n AK: The Safari Ho...

Re: Tough to Be a Bug closed
Wow, this is really crazy when you think about it. I mean, how big is the branch that fell off and how is this even possible? If a branch falls off the Tree of life and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Re: EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival 2012 Pictures
Thanks for sharing those pics. My wife live the Flower and Garden festival and we try to go every year. They always do such an amazing job and we even sit in on some of the lectures. We can't ever get things to look that nice in our yard of dirt and sand but we should love to dream when we hear the ...

That is just awesome. As this is one of my favorite attractions I love this bit of knowledge. I think everyone who claims they are a true American should see this show. Thanks!

Re: Christmas Must-Do's at the Resorts?
I agree with the consensus The Grand Floridian, Wilderness Lodge are the most important resorts to see. My wife and I also went to the Contemporary and they had a really nice Christmas set but I don't remember if they had it every year. But I'll be honest, I think you should try and see as many reso...

Re: Resort Hotel Drinking Mugs
This is a touche subject. From a business sense, I see how Disney would say, hey it's stealing if you use your old cups. So I can see why they would use the bar code system... but it just feels really weird. It almost seems like a prison system or control system. But I really have a hard time believ...

I'm just afraid that Burton will make this movie all style and no substance. Just because it looks pretty doesn't mean it will be good. There are too many times in hollywood where they focus on special effects and costumes but the story is horrid. I thought I read somewhere that it WONT really be ba...

Some people think you should wear a poncho when you ride. I don't. Yeah, I'm pretty much anti-poncho in every sense. What's the point of riding a water ride if you're trying NOT to get wet?? I agree with you 100%. It's like saying I don't want to ride the roller coaster if it's going to go fast. It...

I just wanted to say I absolutely love this topic and thank you all for your postings. For you history buffs like myself, in Liberty Square in the 2nd floor window on the side of the Hall of Presidents , facing towards the Haunted Mansion, there's two lanterns of Paul Revere when he warned how the B...
