Re: Renting out my Disney Vacation Club
I wish this was for next year. We're hoping to spend 2 weeks in WDW during December. We could really use a kitchenette in that time to avoid spending a small fortune on dining.

Re: How do you leave the parks?
One of my favorite WDW memories is leisurely strolling through Epcot, coffee in hand, baby asleep in the stroller, enjoying the sights and the PEACE after the masses headed off to the buses following Illuminations. It was quite tranquil, and we savored every moment. We stayed so long that I think we...

Re: Mission: SPACE!
Orange spins; green does not--it only tilts back and forth. We've ridden both sides multiple times. I agree that you should try green first. There are still some visual tricks that occur during the ride that can make you feel sick, regardless of whether you're on the orange or green side. I always f...

Re: The double edged sword of air conditioning....
The Universe of Energy provides a nice, long break from the heat, but the AC is a bit much. The change from extreme heat to shivering cold is too much for me.

Sounds like an interesting show. Guess we'll just have to take a long weekend to WDW to check it out

"I also read that she is suing for $50k. That amount seems really low if she is really trying to just make a buck. Not saying $50k is chump change but that's seems like a lot of trouble to go through for that amount, less attorney fees." Actually, that convinces me more that it's about bil...

Re: Least comfortable ride seats
I have to agree--Space Mountain. Being "vertically challenged", I always feel like I'm about to fall out of the seat. Given how that ride is, it's a bit unnerving to not feel secure as the car is leaving the loading area. I can't ever get comfortable feeling so unnerved.

Epcot! I love just about every track there. I hear the Innoventions loops and can picture myself walking through the area. It's a much-needed escape when I'm stuck in Cubicle City at work.

Re: Narnia Prince Caspian "Attraction" Lame
We saw the original on one of our previous trips. We were actually quite surprised that it was just a short walk-through of a set. We left saying "That's it?". The ads we had received as passholders made it sound like it would be more than it actually was.

Re: Which country would you most like to really visit???
I have been to Italy and France, but I would love to return to Italy again. However, if I really could choose only one country to visit, I'd have to choose something new and go to Japan. I think that would be a cool trip.

Re: Give a Day, Get ... nothing.
The American Red Cross does giveaways similar to this in order to draw in first-time blood donors. The research shows that once you get a person in for the first time, there is a decent chance that you will get them to return. The point was to raise awareness and encourage people to get involved. Th...

Good to know. We had thought about Chef Mickey's on our next trip for the Little Man. I wonder what the reason for the change is?
