Re: Afternoon cocktails at DTD or nearby?

We've been spending time at the Cove Bar in DCA. Not outside the park, but usually relaxing.

Re: "New" Imagination Pavilion Rumors

Fantastic. Just to the North East of the Monorail shed. Little single remnant of Journey into Imagination.

Boy, looking around I can see lots of little things that look like ride vehicles laying around over there. It would be very cool to have a little drive around these parts...

I stated before that I didn't like it, and that I will always prefer the sleek white monorails with their unique color stripes. I also don't like the balloons, Stitch, etc. While the colors are fun for us to use for identification (I like using Red with SSE in the background for my pictures), they s...

As I have said in previous posts, the square footage of WoL and Horizons are comparable. The shapes are obviously different, and a re-do of Horizons (New Horizons) inside the WoL building would need some adjustments, but it can physically fit...and would be a great idea.

I'm at CBR right now (Trinidad North, January 3rd through the 13th). As I have already posted, I stay here each time I come to WDW. The only problem with it right now is that there is a lot of outdoor stuff here, the bar is outside, the buildings are all separated, the beach has hammocks...but it is...

Lets remember that the monorail system is 99.9% reliable. All large mechanical/electrical systems have issues, some due to age, some due to operations, some just due to unforseen circumstances. System wide power failures aren't the result of the monorails themselves, but Disney does need to increase...

Odyssey does seem like it could be converted into something useful. Maybe the for-rent space is all Disney wants and needs from the building. Each time I am at EPCOT they are either setting up or taking down from an event at the Odyssey. However, it is a prime location on the border of Future World ...

I do think that SSE is a great ride. We will do that 2 or 3 times in a day at EPCOT. I miss the old ending, but when I think about the discussion from the late 90s to gut the ride and put a thrill ride in that beautiful geodesic sphere, I want to go kiss the ground infront of SSE and thank everyone ...

I sure hope EO does make the rounds again. I do like HISTA (though I hate that Disney decided to re-theme the whole Imagination pavilion around the 3-D movie), but it would be awesome to see MJ as Captain EO again. It was a pretty amazing short film, with George Lucas writing the screen play, Franci...

If EO can still be shown in the HISTA theater without any major modifications, I expect to see it sometime. Jackson is being treated as a legend, with most of the negative stigmas attached to his name being erased by his death. Though I do expect Disney to wait for official autopsy findings and the ...

Good choice. I've stayed at the Caribbean Beach Resort exclusively since it opened. We have been pleased each time. Old Port Royale is a great hang out for kids and adults. As an adult my favorite thing to do is leave the parks around 9 (EPCOT closing) and head to the bar at the port and stay until ...

Its a good thing the family onboard had 6 members and a stroller, or they probably would have been up front. More speculation from an engineer here, but if Austin hadn't brought Purple to a stop the combined speed of Pink's 15 MPH and Purple's speed could have been as much as 30-40 MPH, causing much...

I don't hate the new version as much as I hate The Seas with Nemo...but I do miss the old version. It could have easily been updated without the need for Donald Duck and the gang. Mexico has so much history and culture, and you don't really get any of that from the ride. Canada got it right I think ...
