Ended up in room 4134 in the Springs and it was perfectly located near the bus stop and the main pool and the carriage house for ease of check-in and out and refilling those mugs. You might want to try going to City Hall when you arrive at Magic Kingdom and talk to someone in Guest Relations. Tell them where you are staying, and you couldn't get a Fastpass for the mine ride.
