Re: Disney Springs Restaurant: Homecoming
According to wiki, it is banana-pineapple and spice... if it were flavored like real hummingbirds it would presumably taste like territorial dickholes.

Re: Disney Quest
What is a "quarter"? If it doesn't take venmo then it's worthless.

Re: Disney Quest
They aren't popular here either, hence why the other location in Chicago failed and the WDW location was kept open so they wouldn't have a giant gaping hole (Phrasing: Boom!) in their center.

Re: AVATAR coming to WDW
If everything is still going as planned, there is zero reason to do so at launch because they are going to have another big attraction in the land slated to open once the area starts to cool off.

Re: Star Wars Land at HS??
I am wondering if they are going to re-open the closed off area of what was formerly Big Thunder Trail in the near future. The reason I ask is because they are already pretty far along on the rockwork for the entry point. If they want to do something like ToonTown or DCA where there is an attraction...

Re: Disney Springs Restaurant: Homecoming
Menu says with, so I am guessing they are a dip/spread. As they are probably hand piped/scooped, it can be harder to get it inside the ball and keep it neat.

Re: Disney Springs Restaurant: Paddlefish
Curious choice for a name, it is actually a super (at least for now) sustainable fish, it can actually be eaten, but they can turn south so fast that it is like cooking a skate/ray.

Just ask your concierge to send whomever the coke dealer is on staff to your room. If they are confused demand to speak to their manager or get into a hotel fit for humans.

Re: TOT to get bar
I would imagine it also was a dick measuring contest between foodservice and retail/consumer products. If they suddenly lost 10% of their floor space in every E-ticket's exit lobby to some form of concession stand it starts to take value out of their group. Throw in that they had a pretty rough year...

Re: Housekeeping Issues
No idea, considering that you are in the park and what is written isn't the same as what is followed. They say we aren't supposed to drink on the job but I've yet to see anyone tell me to turn in my badge and gun. :D With these services, which are regarded as pure cost, they put them on such tight s...

Re: DLR in One Day Advice??
You forgot the cove bar, which is a popular option during WOC, but they now charge a cover during the shows. Trader Sam's is considered better than the Grog Grotto at WDW, mostly because the workers at WDW apparently get very annoying due to the large number of drinks that trigger effects and high v...

Re: Disney Springs Restaurant: Paddlefish
Looking at their parent company, it looks like they have a few spots in DS. Anyone know the ratio of actual stores to Disney-run fillers for DS? At DTD here, there is a pretty good number (I want to say) of storefronts that are run by Disney when the previous tenant went under and a new occupant cou...

Re: Housekeeping Issues
I suspect the reason for this was either the electric whips (if your time/room slips too far it may mean dismissal) or they literally have no tools to report it.
Other thing could be they are wearing headphones while working (since it is a dull job).

Re: AVATAR coming to WDW
Yeah, it is actually a similar complaint that WoC has, there isn't a solid plot/narrative. It is just a series of themed presentations. One interesting thing people noticed, the arena/seating area where the event will be held is noticeably smaller than other shows, which led to a little confusion as...
