Just got back, and seeing it essentially gone made me so happy. Even though the wall was still there, you could see the theater again. I sent a picture to several friends and they all replied the same way, "thank goodness!"

I called it MGM for a while, but got used to calling it just "the studios"

The ride and movie can't change without the permission of the Norwegian Government I think. I'm pretty sure they have to sign off on it, it's the reason the ride is the way it is anyway.

Quick glance, I'm going to guess that WDW's version hold more people than the DCA version (since we are locked at 6 cars for the 3 shafts) and the DCA version apparently can handle a few hundred more an hour than RnR can (1,500 vs 1,300). The original version didn't fail, Kodak just wanted to update the attraction, it still had good attendance. And the Fan boys of Figment haven't gone anywhere. I guarantee if he were omitted from another version, there would be an outcry.

I've been stuck on Splash Mountain twice, once I had to evacuate. I've also been stuck on Dinosaur for a while, but we were in the probably the only spot in the whole ride where you saw nothing impressive when they turned the lights on, we saw a wall in a corner and that's it.

Personally I think the pavilion needs a complete overhaul. Captain EO needs to go. Honey I shrunk the Audience was better, but a little dated and they could use a new movie. While I don't hate it, the attraction itself is sad compared to the original version. I think they should really take a whole ...

Wow... I haven't bought one of the refillable mugs in a couple years, we used to get them if we were on a longer trip cause it would be cost effective, but now I feel like I'd have to go down for two weeks to make it cost effective. That's a bit much.
