This could either be a refurb or the start of the Frozen overlay. Disney has also started selling limited edition ...

Re: Just Priced Room, Tickets & Meal Plan and Almost Died
I know this is old but wanted to say, it really costs to get the magic now. I don't know in relation how much the price has gone up versus the buying power of the past 40 years. But it seems to have gotten ahead of the curve. Of course it's not like the old day of ticket books. The Florida Resident ...

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?
I have to hold my hands up to stop the over the shoulder restraints from smushing down too hard on my shoulders when the show first starts ~ the first time I experienced the show I didn't know about the restraints and they came down way too far, even though they said they would travel down and then...

I could never be that close and not go in! Especially if I had tickets!! lol it wasn't like we didn't go every other time :-) I think CMs only had a one night stay so we showed up, went to the boardwalk where several of her coworkers were meeting then we left the next morning. You do get kinda spoi...

That's what I'm told I remember him saying a little about it as I grew up, since that was almost 10 years before I was born. But my Grandma was never shy to tell any passerby while we were there lol.Amy wrote:That's very cool that your Grandfather was involved in the building of WDW!

Re: My Favorite Disney Walks
When I was a DVC member my favorite walk was from my home resort, The Boardwalk, to The Gateway entrance into EPCOT. Walking down by the water and watching the Friendship boats go by. I dream of being back there one day. You know what's strange, I stayed there during the CM preview and never went t...

I thought it was called Disney MGM Studios, meh still I'll always call it MGM lol. When I'm old I'll be talking to strangers in the park like my grandmother calling it MGM and telling them my grandfather helped build it and Walt would come to the job site every morning lol she loved telling that sto...

Re: Non-News: Monorail Strands Passengers During Power Outa
Aside from they should have an independent power back up for switches and you don't have only one rescue vehicle on one track for this exact reason. Things get stuck anywhere and, aside from the unpleasant experience for the guests, it's bad PR. Does Disney still have a unspoken PR with the local n...

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?
Oh that is too bad ~ It's Tough to Be a Bug is one of my favorites! I do sit up a little bit toward the end and watch where I sit so I don't get poked or stung ;) The little rollers when the bugs are exiting are kind of a nice massage though  I like the Alien Encounters stuff before it all bro...
