Re: Which park has the best music?

This is a hard one, but I believe I have to say Magic Kingdom, from the well known area music, to the sing-along attraction music! :mickey:

Re: Struck By Lightning

I was working one day (Custodial) on Main Street in July 2010, and a thunderstorm had quickly rolled in and began to pour really heavily. I headed to the main street custodial base (west side of main street) and was looking towards the Jungle Cruise when all of a sudden a bolt of lightning hit just ...

Re: Disney "Sounds"

Walking down Main Street, listening to the music, hearing the train whistle, the horse-trolley bell, the laughter and screams of excitement from kids and parents, hmm what else on Main Street? The Dapper Dans singing, and the philharmonic playing along to familiar tunes, and hearing the ragtime pian...

Re: Mystery Audio

To update you on the audio: In my records, I have the Splash Mountain audio as Disneyland Resort Esplanade music. I am hoping subsonic can confirm this, as I have heard this on other disney radio sites. Confirm what? Secondly, as for Pirates of the Caribbean, I am currently waiting for subsonic's p...

Re: New WDW Monorail shirt

It's a fun shirt to wear, either at the parks or at home. In the parks, many people look at it and laugh and end up actually trying to say the message, and at home, people are quite confused!

Re: What rides have you been stuck on when they broke down?

Back in 2008, I was in Disneyland and had gone to Magic Morning, and I went on Space Mountain, and I just lucked out as my rockey just finished exiting the tunnel at the end when the E Stop occurred, and what happened earlier in the day was that there was an earthquake (5.8) that occured nearby and ...

Re: The Monorail Narrator

Jack Wagner can still be heard in Disneyland and Magic Kingdom today! In Disneyland he does the Disneyland Railroad Annoucements (At the train stations before and when the trains leave), and the Matterhorn safety spiels. In Walt Disney World, he obviously reserves the (Please Stand Clear of the Door...

Re: WDW college program experiences

I'm from Canada, and had the opportunity to enjoy the summer (3 months) at WDW, and looking forward to doing it again! My role was in Custodial, at the Magic Kingdom on Main Street and Backstage areas, and I enjoyed every second of it! I had a great time meeting new friends, roommates, talking to gu...

Re: Ever been to WDW in a hurricane?

I've worked in a tropical storm this year. I used to work on Main Street in Custodial for the summer, and I have to say it was really interesting. You could see a band of clouds heading towards us, and all of a sudden it poured, enough that many guests had decided to leave (for some strange reason) ...
