Re: What is your Fireworks display?
Illuminations in its various forms has always been my favorite. Besides the awesome music and feel to the show there at 2 reasons I think that sets it apart for me. First, I don't feel the need to queue up for a long while to experience the show like a MK firework show or fantasmic. I can experience...

Re: 2013 WDW Marathon
Best of luck to all running WDW races. I'm running TOT ten miler in just 3 weeks. I'm so excited that the race is back. Ran all three TOT 13K's. They were so much fun. January 2013 will be my first Goofy and I'm so excited I can hardly think about little else. I've run four marathons before but have...

Re: CarsLand at Hollywood Studios?
Seeing as how Disney keeps drawing from Pixar over the last ten years almost for its newest attractions, and how duplication seems to help costs at imagineering I could see Car's Land at the studios. I myself would prefer not to though. First, I'm a big fan of differences between Disneyland and WDW....

Re: AVATAR coming to WDW
I admit I'm trying to convince myself that this will be a positive addition to Disney. It's been a long time since the Lucasfilm franchises were added to the parks and I still see them as being "not Disney". I have grown to accept them due to how they were incorporated. Non-Disney elements...

Re: Best Areas in WDW (based on ambiance)
Tower of Terror queue at night. World Showcase during extra magic hours at night when it's quieting down. Everywhere in Asia in AK. Discovery Island trails around Tree of Life during park closing. Shadows and distant voices of park emptying out, peaceful. Boardwalk area before sunrise for a run or l...

Re: New Animal Kingdom Area
Animal Kingdom is my favorite park and it does still have so much potential. I wish they would go forward with the shelved Beastlie Kingdom area based on the mythical. I would go nuts if they did and brought over the Journey to the Center of the Earth and new version of 20,000 Leagues from DisneySea...

Re: New TTA Voice
I'm glad someone posted this thread. The change in TTA narration was as disappointing to me as the loss of Jeremy Irons in SpaceShip Earth. The new voice and narration has no character. It is just your run of the mill plastic, generic, Disney white bread, young seacrest dj sounding. I miss, "No...

Re: Illuminations vs. Wishes
Illuminations, no question. Best part of my Disney trips is watching it after a great day at Epcot. Awesome music. The audience surrounding the spectacle makes it seem so communal which is the point of the theme. It's a wonderful feeling. Wishes never touched me. I actually enjoyed Fantasy in the Sk...

Re: What ride/attraction won't you ride?
I've got no problem with anyone enjoying Finding Nemo The Musical. It's just an opinion. In fact I didn't say it was bad, I just really don't like it at all. The puppetry was pretty cool but the whole production seems to me to be a little more preschool than other Disney shows. I just really dislike...

Here's a shocker... Not only is Animal Kingdom my favorite park in WDW but The Magic Kingdom is my least favorite of the four.

YES! YES! YES! What a awesome move. What a president, returning a classic attraction. There may be hope for imagination fans. I LOVE LOVE the origional version. Disneyland's version is in my top 3 Disney attractions of all . So peaceful, so positive. I will definitely be heading down when this is co...

Re: Park Hopping?
I see park hopping and use it as an insurance policy. I don't think it's worth the price increase but have gotten it more often than not just for one purpose. I have gone to both MK and Epcot a number of times spent less than two hours in those proseective parks in the crush and decided, "forge...
