Haunted Mansion Anniversary Party

Are any of you attending? Tickets sold out SO fast, and were quite expensive for the higher tiered packages....

Reading up on my old thread depressed me :( I feel like I haven't been in so long... And so much is going on in my wife and I's lives that we can't even fathom planning a trip right now :( I'd give up so much to be able to go more often :(

I'm very hopeful that a lot of the ideas in Blue Sky Cellar make it to DCA. Seems like a lot of times the imagineers dream big, then due to time and money constraints they end up dropping a lot of ideas.

I just made it there in October, and am already planning another trip. We live in AZ, DLR is more convenient and cheaper to attend then WDW. Although....... I REALLY want to go to WDW.

I've vistited DLR for 2 days at a time many times. And it was NEVER enough. If we could afford it, I'd go for 4 days. 2 days in DLR and 1 day in DCA. Then it gives us a day to waltz around downtown disney and such. Like said above, the nostalgia at DLR plays a huge role in your stay. It's the origin...

I hope to make it to WDW in 2010. And we are planning a nice long DLR trip in 2009. It never seems close enough. What I would give to be an AP holder and live in the are of one of the parks. I'm not sure I'd want to live near WDW though. From the neighborhoods I've seen in that area, I'd worry about...

I have to second on the clean air thing. Two problems in AZ is the population is exploding and polution is rising.... and we have no trees to scrub our air... :( I myself have never been to WDW. But I have been to the area before for business trips and it is much cleaner air.

Isn't the new Cars Land at DCA going to have something similar to test track? They are just using Mater for the theming. SO I don't see why they would build a similar ride if they were going to lose the sponsorship for one ya know?
