Re: Must See/Do at Disney World NOT in Theme parks?

Sounds like you had a great time, I love the different resorts & what they have to offer. We always stay at Port Orleans Riverside - they have carriage rides, surrey bikes (and normal bikes), movies outside playing at night, campfires (just a short walk to French Quarter) as well as ferry boats ...

Re: Port Orleans

It'll always be dixie landings in my heart ;) Riverside is the best, good food court, restaurant and shop. Great theming with two distinct halves of anti bellum (gone with the wind) mansions and rustic charm of the bayou section. Boats to downtown area as well as normal buses. Horsedrawn carriage ri...

Re: And to make it complete....how about Animal Kingdom?

I'd like to see the boat ride again - don't know if it's possible though because it stretched as far as asia (before asia was built). more shade in asia as it is quite open from kali river rapids to everest, make tusker house back the way it was (not character dining), add something to camp minnie m...

Ghiradelli's is the best, but it's always overcrowded and a bit mad. last time we went we got stuk in there for 1hour30mins cos it was raining heavily outside and everyone was sheltering in Ghiradelli's and eating ice cream

Port Orleans riverside and french quarter cos it's like three resorts in one, you have three themed areas: french quarter is themed like new orleans, riverside is like the antebellum homes of the south (think gone with the winds) with another section themed like a bayou with rustic charm, they have ...

usually we come to the resort quite late, so its first to the food court to eat, then the lobby for park maps and timetables and a leisurely stroll back to our room and then we plan what were going to do for the next days to come
