Very cool - I guess they have had success in the past with this type of event in HK but don't know how it would go over in the U.S. Universal does something like this but they are a completely different park than MK. I can see it now, all the little pirates and princessess running for their life! Wo...

We always close out the trip at the MK and is typically at closing since we leave mid-morning the next day. I am thinking this is not the way to go anymore since it makes the entire night have that "not so great" feel to it. I am thinking we need to book our flights for later in the day an...

Maybe there are others that come to mind when from early days of childhood such as Pirates, Space Mountain, and then Splash Mountan but Hounted Mansion is the one that by far puts you in the moment especially with the new refurb. Before the refurb the sound was definitely sub-par but now after it so...

Wow, to make this a little more interesting I was trying to think of which park would I choose if I could only hit one park on a given trip. It was the MK. Although, I tout DHS as my favorite when we are down there but what would Disney World be without MK, right?

Hmmm, this is a tough call - I've seen it twice at two different trips and think it may have already hit the "only if line is empty" list. I did enjoy the interactive moments but think the fx already seem outdated. I can see how the can try to come up with different twists and puns but unl...

I agree with "mehardy", a good idea to not keep your head back on the headrest. Plus, better to see all the cool stuff if not locked back in that position. This ride definitely takes a great stand-alone thrill ride and once again, its kicked up Disney style with the effects. Side note, I a...

The United Kingdom is by far my favorite, although Canada does have some great steak but who can beat the view from the Rose and Crown Pub (if you can get an outside table during fireworks) - one of the most memorable experiences I've had in Disney!

You are right that the first thing that typically comes to mind for something "romantic" is a dinner although I think there are many things that can be. For dinner, I would throw out the Yachtsman steakhouse at the Yacht Club resort. The atmosphere is elegant and they do have a small semic...

When the trip consists of a larger group, we always bookthe Beirgarten for a dinner during the week. We are of German decent and my mother really enjoys the atmosphere and food. She tells us stories of when she was a little girl and had eaten some of what they offer at the buffet at home. The food i...

The Mickey Oreo Cookie Ice Cream sandwich is absolutely incredible! I use to only get Mickey Bars, but now I am stuck on the Oreo.

Never thought of this one.......

....what a great question. I just asked my wife to list the top 5 things she's looking forward to on our next trip in May but this one is waaay more interesting to think about. Musty smell on Pirates, Oranges in Horozins, water in Splash Mountain are all excellent - I'll add the candy store on Main ...
