When you don't consider your savngs account as a "back-up", but as a fund for your next WDW trip.

Went to Ohana last October and was blown away. The BEST Bread pudding I've ever had. Going for a second time in June, can't wait!

Re: Funny disneyland/dead aunt story

Most people go for the Haunted Mansion. They are extra-vigilant watching for remains dumping. I might opt for Tarzan's Treehouse/Swiss FAmily Robinson Treehouse. The view is pretty good up there.

Re: Disneyland First Timer

If you want to experience the Napa Rose, Disney's 5-star restaurant in the Grand Californian Hotel, but don't want to mortgage your home, share an appetizer and drinks. You'll get to experience the restaurant, but save money for other experiences.

Dirty Parks and grumpy CM's

This was our first trip to WDW with our 7 and 8-year old daughters. My wife and I were last in Orlando back in July '94 on our honeymoon. Having lived in Central Calif. for 10 years, we visited DLR several times a year. I was amazed at how dirty the WDW Parks were. There was trash everywhere. I know...

With the price of park admission as it is, can you even imagine buying two or three passes in order to get multiple FP's at the same time???????? It is obviously an option for visitors with the financial means to do so. As the castmember at Soarin' stated, "at what price do you value your time...

We just returned from WDW. I was behind a women in the soarin' FP Distribution line with 86 park passes (obviously a chaperone for a large school group). Talk about getting in the wrong grocery line. The castmember told me that that was not a record. He had personally seen individuals with over one ...

Stick with this one, it has a happy ending... In 1979 my family drove from Indiana to California to visit family (big station wagon, lots of fighting, you get the picture). We visited Disneyland for the first time on that trip. My father developed an impacted tooth and needed a root canal. He went t...

There were several versions of a Halloween song from WDW's Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. One was country, one was rock-inspired, one was "thriller"-esque, but all were based on the same base melody. Do you have any of these? Did I miss them, not knowing the title? Thanks!

The Grand Californian is also very true to the period style and the lodges that inspired it. You can take a tour where they point out all of the direct influences from the Arts & Crafts movement and how Disney innovated on the originals. Nothing beats a drink from the bar, sitting in front of th...

In what ways does the WDW TOT move horizontally? Left/Right, Forward/Backward?
