That smell in the original Imagination ride always reminded me of the smell of the handstamps they used to use for re-entry waaaaay back in the day. I'm sure it was probably the result of hazardous chemicals, but I used to love getting a big sniff of my hand as we walked through the turnstyle. :D

I dread anything from California Adventure. Oh, and the holiday parade : ) One thing I'll never get sick of hearing, no matter how many versions of it there are..."It's fuuunnn to be freeee!!!" You don't even like Soarin'? You've lost your marbles. Yes, Soarin' is fantastic and I have to ...

Best loop/area music with background ambience

Are there any quality area tracks that have subtle crowd noise in the background? While I do love hearing the masters, the soft crowd noise makes it a bit more relaxing to me.

I finally heard the infamous Rosa track, and my guess is English is not her first language. It sounds like she's imitating the intonation and is struggling a bit with pronunciation. I'm also guessing she isn't very familiar with the movies. In her defense though, of the times I have ridden it, none ...

The "film" at the end does need to be remastered - the visual quality as well as the transition effects are outdated. I certainly have no problems with "classic" films from the ride or in the closing film, but Sister Act really doesn't qualify as well as some of the others that h...

I mean great in the classic Disney sense of the word. Queue theming, music, effects - attention to the most minute detail. I enjoy Soarin' quite a bit, but because it seems like a clone with an overly simple queue I wouldn't classify it as "great". Also, regarding the Mansion refurb - I li...

Hoping someone can find audio from the late, great parrot that was removed as part of the refurb of Pirates at WDW. Thanks!

Need to refresh before posting -

I figured it wasn't an integral part of a ride or show, but the woman's dialect is performed terribly.

Edit: Not to mention it isn't very funny. Not a big deal, but I know I'll have to walk away for a few mins when it's coming on.

I'm more of an animatronics person anyway
Same here - as much as I love the coasters I'd choose PoC or HM over them in a minute. I'm a sucker for robots and theming...

Is the queue different for Soarin' Over California? Was any theming done at all?

Last "Great" Disney Ride

I haven't ridden EE yet, so I can't include it in my list yet. Soarin' is a great ride, but the queue area seems uninspired. Tower of Terror is the last great end to end Disney experience for me.

The last time I went on many of those rides was back in '93, and I was young which makes it hard to remember; but I do remember that Horizons and World of Motion were at the top of my list. I really miss both of these. I like Test Track, but Mission:Space seems like something I don't need to ride m...

Less Disney is better than more if they insist of shoehorning in garbage like Sister Act . Agreed 100%. There were others in there that seemed out of place, but can't think of any now. Sister Act doesn't fit in with all of the classic films they cover in the montage. It was a good movie at best... ...

I'm new to this site, but so far "old lady and tootie" usually results in an immediate mute for me.
