Re: Subsonicradio - Help Broadband Needed!!
Thanks for the kind words! Anyone who is interested in hosting should do it; it's very easy and you get over a million dollars. Oh wait, that last part was supposed to be secret...

I've got an even better idea! They should stop offering ADRs! Everyone should have to wait for a table, every time. No seriously! But it will be ok, because Tony's has a TV playing Lady and the Tramp on a loop so you can watch it 1.2 times while you're waiting for your table! I think this will be a ...

Alas, I have the same issue at work that I always have. Everything but port 8000 is blocked. I can now only listen to either the 24k stream (ack!) or the scheduled stream. No more requests! Can anyone help people like me? We have switched the ports so that the requests stream is port 8000. En...

You may doubt it. Doesn't mean it's not true. I can't think of a station offered in the resorts which is as controversial as Fox News. It's possible that WDW doesn't carry the FNC because they don't like it...I just think it's unlikely. Obviously ericpabear and I disagree on the merits of the quest...

Actually, Disney may have decided not to carry FNC because they think it's awful. It's actually a pretty widely held opinion. Just as there are obviously a lot of people who hold the opinion that it is worth watching. So what you're saying is...a lot of people like FNC and a lot of people dislike F...

Immature, or just poking fun at something that deserves it? Personally I find it hard to take a news outlet seriously when the lead story on their world news page is that a snake ate a dog. Surely there's more important things going on in the world? Yes, like this transgendered talk show host (take...

This is very true; there are also some other not-Disney/ABC stations on the dial there, including the (very cool, imo) Asian and German channels, depending on your hotel. It may just be they don't have room to fit it in their grouping, or can't strike a deal with FOX News to carry it on property. I...

Maybe the lack of Fox News in the resort is because Fox networks take a lot of shots at Disney (Family Guy, The Simpsons (especially), Fox News Channel itself....) ...but they carry the Fox affiliate that plays Family Guy and The Simpsons... ETA: not to mention that they are creating an American Id...

2. Why would you expect it to be offered at Disney? Aside from the local channels, I think just about every channel offered is a Disney-owned channel (ESPN, Lifetime, ABC Family, Disney Channel, etc.) I believe CNN is owned by Turner (not Disney) and MSNBC is jointly owned by NBC and Microsoft (als...
