Depends. I would say most lifeguards work until early evening at the water parks, and until 10 or so at the resorts. There's a good chance that he will be deployed to which location needs him at a given time. And if it rains, you still get paid for showing up to work. Just an update. He got his acc...

He said he wanted to #1-lifeguard, #2- merchandise. When he spoke to other CP's this summer, they said they were always in the need of lifeguards.

Does anyone know how late at night the lifeguards work in the Spring?

Is it a problem to attend a presentation at another campus when they'll be having one later at your campus? I think he'd rather go to the earlier presentation in Mid- September than wait until Mid-November. If he would find out in about 2 weeks from the phone interview, that would mean he'd have an ...

Hi All - I have a quick question for anyone who's recently done the College Program at Walt Disney World. My son is applying for Spring '09 and the presentation at his school isn't until mid-November. If it takes 2-3 weeks to hear a response - that puts you at end of November, beginning of December....

Thanks, we did read them a long time ago. I couldn't find it this time, though. That's why I started a new post. But, I'll find the old one and re-post this question.

Thanks

Our stays average 9-10 days once a year. We stayed 2 weeks one year and split it between 3 resorts. Too much moving and work problems that I had to take care of the last few days of vacation made me think 2 weeks was too long. The next time we attempt a 2 week stay it'll be 2 resorts (DVC) and no wo...

I STILL LOVE IT!! I was on the College Program from January 07 to August 07 and I now I am a seasonal Disney Cast Member. I loved everyday I was there, really, I never had a bad day at work! There are too many good things that happen everyday, too many smiles to not enjoy it. I went to the parks al...

I can't speak for the pool at Fort Wilderness, but can advise you about visiting other resorts' pools. Disney's policy is not to allow pool hopping. Only DVC Members are allowed to pool hop, and even then, there are some black out periods and some resorts are off limits totally. Hope this helps. Hav...

I want to say I was about 9 years old and we stayed in an un-airconditioned RV. My dad took my brother, sister and I and we did Magic Kingdom every day all by ourselves while my dad stayed back at the RV and got super sunburned when he fell asleep on a chair outside. It was really something ...

Stormalong Bay at 9:00 in the morning when you practically have the pool all to yourself and are totally relaxed just watching the metal flags above the resort twirl in the breeze. Aaaahhhh

My software for listening to music changed and I had to download Yahoo Music Jukebox. In trying to listen to Subsconic, it keeps terminating, can you please see if I'm blocked? :( Edited after orignal post - Never mind, I deleted the program and am going to try something different. Thanks anyway. :)
