You can have a great time at the booths alone, particulalry on weekdays (less locals) and earlier in the day. Very festive, a little crowded. We have done special events. With fastpass, many queus are missed...Kali River Rapids and Everest are great examples. It's worth being sure you go through the standby line at least once to absorb the whole effect.
