The day after SSE closed, I spoke with a guest service cast member. She said that it could be as late as March, with all the work that needed to be done. I don't always listen to CM's, many don't really know what they are talking about. But I could tell that she was a Disney and SE fan, and seemed t...

The first time I went, I spent a week there. Now it's just day trips from Paris. The studios will take very little of your day, there isn't too much there even yet. I would spend 2 days at the Disney Parks and take the other day into the city. Paris is now my favorite place to visit anywhere (so far...

Right - Disney is building DVC in Hawaii. The next DVC at WDW will likely be the Contemporary.

I've been told that it could be months before it's open. It's not just a freshening up, but it also doesn't sound like a total redo. It should be more interactive when open, like Horizons. That said - they could speed it up and be open around Thanksgiving. But a couple of months ago, I was told that...

I haven't seen any other reviews yet.

I don't think so -it looks ceramic. I would love to be able to buy one, though!

I have photos up at the link mentioned above (at mousesteps.com), but here is a photo of the kids meal that looks like it's in a monorail (though I guess it's really a Japanese Bullet Train, but same thing to me! :)) http://i178.photobucket.com/albums/w262/nbodyhome/monorail-5.jpg The restaurant is ...

Oh, I got it now! I haven't ever tried tempura. Just the items on the grill. Thanks!

I have photos up of the menu, but Teppan Edo is similar to Teppanyaki food wise. The main difference to me is the atmosphere.

Thanks on the info on Tempura. I don't think I've ever had that!

Lion Sleeps Tonight wrote:I've only eaten at the Teppanyaki restaurant once, and it was all right. It was weird having even my meat dipped in tempura batter.

The Tokyo Dining Area sounds interesting.
They are both very stylish. I don't know what tempura batter is!

Yes, that is my site. :) I found you all when you came in about my Epcot 25 photos, but I didn't want to be too tacky and post the site without being asked. Thanks for doing it for me! Teppan Edo is where Teppanyaki was. The updated Teppan Edo is very similar as far as food, much more stylish, and t...

Teppan Edo is now open

We ate there yesterday, I'd put up about 60 photos. Similar, but different styling. The monorail kids meal was the best part, I think - and we just had to admire that from afar!

There is something there now, Tutto Italia. It is a temporary restaurant and is pricey but excellent (I'd not pay cash, but ate there 3 times on the free dining last week). That would now be my #1 World Showcase restaurant if on the dining plan. I have a review here with photos: http://www.mousestep...

Yes, the Leave a Legacy stones. The word around is that they will be moved elsewhere...maybe to the back of the park? We'll see!
