Now Morocco...I never understood how it got a space and something like Brazil, Russia, Australia, or something didn't. A large donation from the government (aka Royal Family) of Morocco. Interesting bit of trivia: Morocco is the only pavilion in Epcot to be sponsored by its corresponding government.

I think most people's feelings about the cost of the food at Disney depends on their personal experience. For example, living in Fairfield County, Connecticut, the food at Disney is equally priced or less expensive than food in comparable restaurants here. Conversely, people who live in parts of the...

I had heard from a few of my friends who work in Epcot Guest Relations that the topic of this post ("Mission Space wait times still extreme during busy times") wasn't quite accurate, and in fact the opposite was true: The media attention to the deaths at Mission Space had caused ridership ...

The bottom line is Disney had to do SOMETHING. The zero-G option is a good way to placate people's fears and allow EVERYONE to experience the attraction without worrying about health concerns. Everyone who was arguing the other side of the issue than I should be happy--Mission: Space will remain ope...

Also, more recently Disney has added the EPCOT AquaSeas tour which uses Scuba-Assisted Snorkel units. For AquaSeas you do not need to be a certified SCUBA diver. I was able to participate in this program when it was still being tested. They called over to Guest Relations to see if any of us wanted ...

That's a little negative. Given, a lot of the Disney Corporation is just that...a Corporation centered around money. There are some people that keep the dream alive--creating new FAMILY experiences using not just new technology, but UNDISCOVERED technology. That was a JOKE, partner. However, joke o...

Just to follow up on this discussion which I bowed out of so long ago, I'd like to applaud Disney on their decision to offer two separate experiences. Please see the following info from wdwmagic.com: As previously announced, there will be two Mission: SPACE experiences, Orange Team (spinning high G ...

Re: Disney Trivia

In March 2000, the Disney company reversed its 43 year ban on mustaches for its theme park employees. That was a HUGE point of contention when it happened. I was working at MKGR, and I remember Cast town hall meetings with the park GM and VP discussing this change to the "Disney Look." Pu...

All 4 attributes are needed to keep the illusion of Disney alive. Great point, Rich! The Disney parks have been so successful because of these four keys working in harmony. We all take safety for granted at the Disney parks, but that's only because Disneyland was the first "safe" amusemen...

I'd be interested, if you're really desperate. I know I sometimes rant and rave, but I'd be happy to lend a hand. My only concern is that I'm probably not as familiar with PHPBB as others.

Is there any reason why the People Mover couldn't return? It seems that the ADA has been the death knell for many attractions at Disneyland. Perhaps the People Mover was not accessable? I am fairly certain that is why the Skyway and the Sleeping Beauty Dioramas are gone -- they were inaccessable by...
