My vote would be "When You Wish Upon a Star." I don't think any song epitomizes the emotions and feelings associated with Disney more than that timeless classic.

Without a doubt: Party for the Senses during the Food and Wine Festival. If any of you have a chance to attend this limited-ticket event and you love good food and great wine and champagne, DO IT! I promise you will not be disappointed. It's like an all-you-can-eat cocktail party with the best chefs...

The only place I've een (and been to) that has had any kind of decent security is the Statue of Liberty in NYC. I went there for New Years 2006, and a friend and I decided to visit the Statue and Ellis Island. just to get on the ferry, had to pass through metal detectors with police and army person...

Whenever I'm feeling especially gluttonous, I dream of the Blue Bayou's Monte Cristo sandwich. I fell in love with this artery-clogging delicacy on my first trip to Disneyland, and I'll never forget it. Try as I might to find one in the "outside world," no restaurant I've visited has perfe...

I'm a sucker for area music loops. My favorite is the Wilderness Lodge Resort loop. Love those westerns. Notable segments include "How the West Was Won" and "Last of the Mohicans."

Well said. We were always living in a dangerous world. 9/11 just showed some people how dangerous it could be, and woke up some people who were living in lala-land. No country is immune to this kind of thing, and no amount of security is going to stop someone who really wants to cause that kind of ...

Why, he manages events, of course! Well yeah thanks Captain Obvious, I was kind of wondering what that actually entails at a place like this, since I obviously don't everything there is know.... I definitely missed you all. I'm sort of a utility infielder around there, doing everything from c...

I took part in the Disney Professional Internship for PR / Communications majors in the spring of 2000 and absolutely loved it. They placed me in Magic Kingdom Guest Relations, a true dream come true. Went back and graduated, then immediately returned to the job waiting for me at MKGR. I HIGHLY reco...

The restaurant was nice, but I never thought it was one of WDW's best. However, their namesake dish was absolutely unbelievable! Anyone who loves REAL Fettuccine Alfredo should try to book a meal there before they close. You'll find true bliss diving into that steaming pile of pasta, cheese, and but...

Back after a 6-month hiatus

Long time no see! It’s been quite a while since our big move to New Orleans and my last visit to subsonic radio. Life has been a tumultuous whirlwind of activity since the move, with settling into the new digs and the new job. I’m now working as an event manager for Southern Oaks Plantation (be sure...

Downtown Disney. Fun things for newlyweds to do? Well... make sure they get a nice hotel room at a deluxe in a good location. There's nothing quite like a bus to kill a romantic mood. Unfortunately, even at a Deluxe resort you still have to take a bus to Downtown Disney and the Animal Kingdom. Bott...

A little off topic, but speaking of food at WDW:

Jiko – The Cooking Place at the Animal Kingdom Lodge was recognized for "Best Independent Operator Menu" in the 2006 Nation's Restaurant News MenuMasters Awards.

Yum, yum! Guess I'm not the only one who thinks Jiko is delicious!
