Summer Nightastic

Has anyone seen the 3 updated features? I was there July 6th and 7th. We were able to see The Electrical Parade (loved the new additions) and the Fireworks. (Disappointing - no Tinkerbell or Dumbo.)

We never made to Fantasmic. Anybody else?

Is the Sleeping Beauty Castle Open Yet?

I read on Mouse Planet (some time ago) that Disney said the castle would reopen sometime in the fall. Well, it's fall. (I know, I know, don't set my set heart on Disney's schedule.) Anyway, when I went to Disneyland the 2nd weekend of October, I was sorely disappointed to find that the attraction wa...

I guess you're there now, but BEWARE it's UEA (fall break) for Utah schools - also known as "Utah's Exodus to Anaheim".
I just went last Friday (the 10th) Crowds were low, weather was perfect!! I LOVE Disneyland in the fall!

3 years ago I was there - running down Main Street while the Cast Members stood outside the shops and greeted us all with "Welcome Home!" Good times!

I hope this is true. I'm so over the celebrations! I hope Disneyland (CA) does not do a big celebration for WDW. It's not Disneyland's birthday afterall.

So hard to pick just one!! One of my favorites is my Castle from the Olszewski collection. Everytime I look at it, I fell like I'm right back in there. The attention to detail is awesome!

It's really too bad we can't incorporate all the new technology and keep more of that original feeling. I don't remember my trips to Disneyland in the 70's, but I look back with such fondness of the the 80's and 90's. Bit by bit it seems to have lost some of the charm, especially when they took out ...

You should at least try it once. I went on it, and I won't be going again. Same with Screamin'. But you never know - you might love it!

My husband and I love to share the Fried Chicken Dinner at the Plaza. We get all white meat, no veggies, but extra mashed potatoes, then we share a salad and dessert. It totally fills us both up and it costs around 20 dollars (less with our annual pass discount)!!

It's so funny - when I have them, I love them. When I don't, I hate everyone that does. But I won't wait for ANY ride more than about 30 minutes anyway. I made that mistake once - The Rocket Rods. Almost 3 hours. Never. Never. Never again. I do agree that part of the fun of the ride is the line - In...

We used to go around October or the begining of November, and it wasnt' so bad, but it's starting to get pretty crowded with all the Fall stuff they're doing. We did go at the first part of February this year, and the crowds weren't bad at all - just stay away from President's Day!! My brother who w...
