Re: LittleBit's Pre-trip report
Sounds like a really neat trip! I love your dining reservations. We might be in wdw the same time as you guys, but we'd come in on Sunday and our park plans are completely different! Also, I have to ask, is LittleBit a nickname for Elizabeth? My mom used to call me that when I was a kid. Nope, my n...

Re: What do you do to get your family in the Mood?
I've been up for a while. I have very early lessons on Tuesdays in the summer. I like to pop on and see what I have missed overnight :D Sadly I very rarely remember to start the stream :( But as soon as I get into my car, the Disney music starts and keeps turning throughout the day Have a good one ...

Re: What do you do to get your family in the Mood?
Oooo! Surprise trip ~ that will be a fun one! I remember being quite excited to go to the Swiss Family Robinson treehouse after having read the book and then watched the movie. It was a little more interesting to me after I knew the story :D My DS12 will really get a kick out of it after he watches...

Re: What do you do to get your family in the Mood?
We always do countdowns and stuff like that. We also try to watch some Disney classics ahead of time to refresh the kids memories about the characters they will be seeing and the rides they will be riding. For the last trip I rented Swiss Family Robinson before the trip and that really got my son e...

Just so you know, ever since I read your comment about making sure to see MSEP and Wishes, the song from Wishes keeps running through my head. And I'm at work and can't listen to Subsonic here!Amy wrote:Yay for planning catching the MSEP and Wishes one night.

Re: LittleBit's Pre-trip report
Wow seems like a lot of planning has gone into this trip. I can see you have a lot of experience with Disney and seem to have a good grasp on everything. I will say that you have to be careful with the pools. I know that the main Stormalong Bay pool is closed once the lifeguards go off duty at 11PM...

Re: LittleBit's Pre-trip report
Wow, it sounds like you have a great plan. It includes downtime at the pool in the evenings. How late does the pool remain open? And I'm sure since you've been so many times you know that it could be a little chilly at night at that time of year. Sounds like you have some great ADR's as well. The p...

Re: Is it insane to + Days just because Hubby leaves early?
We do have similar things on this board. When people announce their vacations months in advance they usually state whose going, which hotel, how long, and any ADR's they have planned. Exactly. Here's a link to one that's currently going on. http://www.subsonicradio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&...

Re: What do you do to get your family in the Mood?
Hmm I don't know how to get people in the "mood" as I am always in the mood to go to WDW. However, I know what I tend to do to boost and contain my excitement. Get the vacation planning DVD. It is really a great thing to watch about a week or two before going. It helps to mount the excite...

LittleBit's Pre-trip report
This is the first pre-trip report I’ve ever written so I might forget some details. But I figure since I paid off the trip today, I’d leave my report. Cast of Characters (# of previous trips): Me (24), DH (5), DS12 (3) and DS5 (0, yep this will be his first time and he is so excited) will be leaving...

If you run this search on Google "how to make your own ringtones for free", you will find sites that you can make ringtones for free and then be able to up load them to your phone. Don't ever give a credit/debit card number. THESE SITE ARE FREE!! Some of them will even let you make your o...

Re: Best snacks at Disney World?
I was going to try those fresh potato chips I mentioned earlier in the thread but wasn't hungry when I walked by. Decided to see Philharmagic because I haven't seen it in a long time. Figured I would try them after Philhar and Friars nook was closed. ARGH!!!! Well, next time I will try them. I'm go...

Re: Disney "Sounds"
Is it weird for me to be considering doing research on what kind of audio recording device would be the best to record some of the Disney's sounds?
And where did you guys get the ring tones?
