DW and I celebrated our honeymoon in WDW and first anniversary in Disneyland. We've been every year since then, last year's trip being the 6th as a couple and our 10th overall. We celebrated by staying at Bay Lake Tower for the first time, nearly a year to the day after buying into DVC on a whim. Sk...

We joined DVC with a buy-in at BLT. Hoping to stay in December, but we'll see (especially with the free ticket and cheap 4 other tickets for military members this year! hooah!)

I'll have to give Google Earth another try. Maybe on the new PC it'll look alright....

Also, to derail for just a moment:
Magical Racing Tour game
I want a remake, dangit! I loved playing that game on both the Dreamcast and the PlayStation those long years ago. Ah well, here's hopin....

I go through "phases", I think. I'll listen hardcore while I'm working for a few weeks, then won't return for a good bit. I HAVE noticed that it's almost like my own self-prescribed "anti-depressant". The military lifestyle and pulls and pushes on one's emotions (commanding nucle...

Flying down from Montana with my wife to meet my parents, brothers, and brother- and sister-in-law (the latter two will be going for the first time at age 15 and 17). First December trip, can't WAIT! Re: Careers at WDW (or Orlando area Disney locations)

I'm not sure where all of the tech jobs for Disney are located. I do think they outsource bits of development. Like some of the Games that they have on the site where made by companies outside of the Disney Umbrella, I know for sure VMK was developed by Sulake. I should have guessed the games were ...

Careers at WDW (or Orlando area Disney locations)

Greetings, all! I've read a number of excellent posts regarding working as a CM for WDW, and while these are incredibly informative and wonderful stories, my interests lie a bit more to the career technical fields. In particular, I have a good deal of experience in web development, online game progr...

Hmm.... Favorites for me would have to include the Rockin' Rollercoaster (for the thematic lead-in), Kali River Rapids ('cause it's neat, dangit), and Splash (because it's splash...).

First up, greetings to all -- I do believe this is my first post 'round here, but I've been a listener for much longer. In any case, while I realize it's off topic, I'll second the opinion on honeymoons being better (in my own opinion, of course, and I wasn't married at WDW). My wife and I had a bea...
