Re: New Stream - Main Street USA (Pseudo-Temporary)

I am certainly enjoying it. Every track adds perfectly to the mix. It vividly reminds me of walking down Main Street at Disneyland as the park is opening or just sitting with the family on Main Street waiting for the afternoon parade while enjoying the sights, sounds and scents that Main Street has ...

Re: New Stream - Main Street USA (Temporary)

I know you said this was temporary but I'm so glad that the audio is still up. Thanks for putting it together and for leaving it active!

Re: Disney "Sounds"

One of my favorite sounds is to hear Jack Wagner say "Remain seated please; permanecer sentados por favor." This became a fun little exchange between my daughter and I because a while back I was trying to say it and completely messed it up the Spanish part. In laughing about it, it someho...

Re: What ride(s) have you ridden the most?

I sat on the ground for DLR Fantasmic my first time, and in a chair the second time. Way back when I saw it the first time, they actually required certain areas up front to be seated rather than standing for safety purposes. I wonder if they still do that? When we were last at Disneyland, they did ...

Re: Is Fantasmic scary for young children?

My youngest was 5 when we went to the 3D Honey show at DL and when the huge spider started toward the audience, she was terrified. The rest of the trip she was trying to get on every ride she was tall enough for without fear. She loves Fantasmic and has never been scared by it even then. At that age...

Re: What ride(s) have you ridden the most?

I wonder if this thread could be expanded to include shows and parades. Have you seen a particular show or parade more than 10 times? For me, I have seen DL Fantasmic 12 times (not bad when you live out of state) and the Christmas parade 6 times. I'm sure some of you put these numbers to shame thou...

Here's a short video preview from Disney of making some of the floats for the new parade. The detail looks amazing.

I know that Disneyland's planning on having a new parade named Mickey’s Soundsational Parade but there's no official date as far as I know. We also don't go every time we're at the parks. We go on special occassions. There are other places we go every time such as the Plaza Inn for the chicken.

Re: Suggestions for a big kid's birthday...

It's really cool to hear Cast Members wishing you a Happy Birthday, so take advantage of it while you can. We went to Disneyland for my 40th birthday and I got a button on the way in. I have to agree that it was cool to be wished happy birthday by the Cast Members but it was also cool to be wished ...

Re: Pirates of the Caribbean 4: On Stranger Tides

I'm actually really pumped for this new flick. The last one was god-awful but this one looks dynamite. Sorry but I disagree totally. I really like how the 3rd one builds excitment throughout the second half. The entire last battle was great and I was very pleased with how it ended. I love the music...
