Re: Reserve ride time from home?

the problem I see with this is people reserving times on rides then not even attending that park. How would that be addressed? Right now, you can't get a FastPass without being in the park. But imagine if you are home and trying to plan out your trip. You could have the best intentions of fulfillin...

Re: WDW Explorer software

I own an older version, which I purchased it in 2000. I haven't tried installing it on my newer computers. Since I upgraded systems, I haven't touched it. I loved it when it was on my older system, though.

disneylizzy, my sentiments exactly!!! I was so looking forward to the meal and I was underwhelmed.

Re: Do you stay at a Disney resort? Why or Why Not?

Just wondering how many people stay in the Disney resorts when they visit Disneyworld.... We always stay on property. One reason is b/c we like to be completely immersed in Disney while we're there,... Absolutely! I totally agree with disneylizzy. On our first trip, we stayed off property. That was...

Also, the Segway demo is pretty cool, it prompted us to actually do the Segway tour!!! I would highly recommend it. And if you go, ...

I pretty much have a "1 day we match" rule. Whether we have matching shirts, or similar shirts...I try to limit the matching to 1 day. My family had that this past vacation. We had a one day where we all wore the same shirt. It was kind of cool. We usually try to have a day where we all a...

This might sound unbelievable, but we've never seen Wishes! Before my daughter was born, my wife and I caught Fantasy in the Sky each time we closed the Magic Kingdom. But Wishes! started after my daughter was born and she HATES fireworks. I've never seen it and I don't even know the music. All I kn...

We've never spent time in Innoventions. I don't know if we're missing something? Or if there's really nothing there worth taking time away from the rest of Epcot (which is pretty terrific). If you have the time, there are some pretty cool things in there to check out! It's always a good break if yo...

Nothing wrong with getting excited about Disney clothes. I'm a 49-year-old man and one of my favorite things about a Disney trip is packing my Disney apparell. (And buy new ones, too!!!)

When my dad sneaks home a stack of Walt Disney World napkins and tells my mom "I have a surprise for you when we get home," so he can unveil the napkins at a backyard picnic and surprise her by "bringing back a little Magic." It did make the picnic better, too. We all reminisced ...

Our First Day (Arrival Day)

Since we had our daughter, we've changed things a bit. Now, we arrive as early as possible, which is around noon or 1 p.m. (there are much fewer flights to Orlando than there used to be), take the Magical Express to our hotel, check-in, then off to Epcot. We'll eat both lunch and dinner somewhere ar...
