Re: You know you're a WDW nut when...

I would love to get my hands on a copy of the original "7 Must Sees at WDW" with Krissa. You can find them on YouTube but they are not the best quality. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vnI-OjM2UKs http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVkthrEsbyw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzYXVTr85CE And to a...

Re: Favorite Overlooked Attraction

Here you are MmeLeota, a link for WDW tours and pricing...it also includes what memberships will receive discounts which is quite nice. http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/tours.htm Behind the Seeds ~ $16/adults, $12/kids ages 3-9 I knew it was fairly inexpensive, I think we also had a FL resident disco...

Re: Favorite Overlooked Attraction

Am I the only person the really enjoys "Living with the Land"? I agree with you, I still like this attraction. I've also done the "Behind the Seeds Tour", it's about 2 hours and I think it's only around $10-$12. If you plan it right with Fast Passes to Soarin' and late lunch at ...

Re: Favorite Resort Lobby

It's hard to pick between Poly and WL, those two are at the top of my list. But I also like the solarium at Beach Club. I'm a local so I often take my laptop, buy a sandwich and a drink at the retail/cafeteria and get comfy for a few hours and do some work. Great atmosphere.

Re: Paradise Pier Hotel

I have stayed at PP before and it's been great, it's no DLH or GC of course but I have absolutely nothing bad to say about it. The walk to DTD from PP is just about the same as from the DLH's farthest building. We have always gotten a room higher up and the view is not bad at all.

Maybe it's because we've been on so many Disney Cruises (12), but other than one being Art Noveau and the other Art Deco, I see not much difference between the two of them.

Live webcam from Disney Wonder

Found this link on another Disney board and thought I'd share, someone will have a live webcam as the Disney Wonder leaves Port Canaveral Thursday July 3rd.

Back when MK was being built there was only one road in and out of Disney property State Road 535 or Apopka-Vineland Road. Since there was really nothing else around, The Big Bamboo and Johnnie's Place were the only two establishments where construction workers could stop and basically get a beer on...

My wife and I just spent the entire Labor Day weekend at WDW without going to the parks. We stayed at Saratoga Springs, used the pools, spa, rented the little Mouse Boats at Wilderness Lodge and spent an hour boating at Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, went to the Poly lounge and met with friends for...

CMs are not allowed to take cell phones to charge, too much risk, the phone could fall of the counter and break, the charger could get damaged and the phone ruined, the guest could accuse a CM of stealing information and phone numbers out the phone, too many things could happen that Disney wants to ...

Catal

You would think that living in Orlando it would be easy to find good tropical drinks, but the best Mojitos I've ever had I've had at Catal.

That is very cool.

I am an aerial photography junkie. Before Google Maps and Google Earth, about 5 years ago, I paid $500 to get a high resolution image of Orlando including WDW, only a year later they were available free on Mapquest and shortly after on Google

You should just do DL since it's your first time. Take the time to enjoy and experience it and immerse yourself in the magic.

My favorite walk next to the walk from the BC/YC/BWI area to Epcot and MGM. That's a nice walk, my favorite. From BW to MGM is 1.85 miles, add once around the lagoon and it's 2.67 miles and if you have an annual pass and can go inside World Showcase, it's a total of 4.5 miles. Load your mp3 player ...
