The trouble is that Disney will only build fancy rides when forced to anymore. When was the last big ride added to MK? Splash Mountain? Pooh? Alien Encounter/ Stich? It is still the most heavily attended theme park in the world. Until attendance suffers, MIncLF or other on the cheap rides are all th...

As long as people go, there is no problem. However, as a long time Disney fanatic it breaks my heart a little every time I go to WDW. I remember it in 84 and in 94 and how magical it all was. I do not begrudge Disney a single dollar they make. For the experiences they sell, the money is worth it. Bu...

I remember mty first trip to DL as a pre teen and Star Tours had just opened. The line was crazy. All the way back down Main Street. My parents and family friends refused to wait in that line. It made me sad. Of course, I have now ridden it multiple times on both coasts, but when you are 10 and in l...

I thought I read in a guidebook that they were to cut down on the noise from screaming. But I could easily be mistaken.

Compared to the nightmare that Six Flags can be when it is crowded, I am all in favor of the Disney method. But I do love the anticipation of a ride while waiting in a queue. (I am secretly eight years old when I am at a Disney theme park. Except I meet the height requirements.)

I have often wondered how much Drinking around the World would cost during the Food and Wine festival. Of course, the food and wine festival has led to a couple of unrecognized banking transactions the next day . . . (I took how much out of the ATM?!?!?!?)

And let them know that you can have a FP at DL and at DCA at the same time. (Or at least you could 15 months ago. ) A lot of walking, but well worth it.

Um, let's just say that concrete is very hard when your head is turned towards Spaceship Earth and you are not watching where you are going, but you "friends" are. . .

Three hours for Test Track. That was an adventure of the unpleasant kind. It had just opened and there was no fastpass, no single rider line. We were so excited to finally go on this thing which had taken away WoM three years before. The whole time, everyone insisted that it would be just another co...

My favorite time to resort hop is in December with all of the holiday decorations up. You can just meander from place to place seeing which resorts top each other. (And end up at the Floridian, which inevitibly wins.)

I suspect that if you went to Guest Relations, they would probably find a way to apply the cost of one towards the purchase of a new one. They were always really pretty good about updating some really old WDW passes for me. (How old? They had Junior admission rates.)

I was obsessed with getting a card from Esmerelda. Every time that I went to DL on an overnight trip there when I was in high school I had to get a card from her. It was amazingly important to me. Although I would make it a point to try and ride space mountain more that I ever had before, Esmerelda ...

I love the ToT queue too, but it always seems to me like the line itself should have snaked through the lobby more. I always wanted more time to wander through it.

But the boiler room always brings up the anticipation and dread. (The fun kind of dread.)

Hi everyone, I'm a newbie, but wanted to jump in here. For me, the best place to drink is either in the Adventurer's Club with a Kungaloosh -- or the Dawa Bar at Animal Kingdom right before entering the lengthy queue for Kilimanjaro.
