Re: CRUISE ADVICE?

Thanks for your reply. I'm not going to debate any safety requirements. I'm safety conscious and do not try to get around safety rules (it's part of my job :) ), I was just curious regarding people's experience with absolute strictness of the height (e.g. to the 1/16"??). Btw, the AquaDuck requ...

CRUISE ADVICE?

Hi! I'm planning to take a Disney cruise in early 2014. From what I've read elsewhere, itineraries should be issued withinh the next few months. Is booking a cruise similar to booking airfare - i.e. the earlier you book the better the fares (obviously excluding any special offers)? Also, has anyone ...

Re: Disney Parent Pulse

Is anyone actually getting any surveys to complete? I'm starting to think that maybe anyone can join, but only parents will get to offer opinions?! :( I haven't gotten any surveys either - just the email saying to watch my email for them. Same here, haven't received any surveys after the init...

Re: Going in December!!! Any tips?

As others have said, definitely take clothes that you can layer. Take gloves (just in case! - I learned the hard way one year!) If you have time to check out the decorations at the other resorts - I highly recommend doing so. The Deluxe resorts are more ornately decorated than the moderates or value...

Re: Google Earth has Disneyworld in 3D images

Thanks for the info - I've used Google Earth 3D views before, but never thought of going to WDW. I can't wait to show some family members who will be going with us in August for their 1st trip. (Maybe it'll help DBIL get an idea of how big WDW is?!? )

Thanks again for posting!

Re: Grand Floridian Expansion

Disney is being quite optimistic. Attendance numbers are down and what do they do? Build more hotel rooms :P This expansion is very likely based to some degree on how quickly Bay Lake Tower DVC is selling despite the sour economy. As I think a previous poster stated, if buying into DVC, many people...

Re: What is your MUST DO dining?

We've had quite a few favorites over the years....Jiko, Artist Point, more recently: Yak & Yeti! Is there anyone else who goes for the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival? What are your favorite booths? Despite hot weather, I have to go for Canada's cheese soup and quesadillas in Mexico. Still leary ...

Re: Main Street Electrical Parade returns.

I think they will keep the MSEP longer than "they" are telling us. At least, that's what I'm hoping since we will be there in Oct. It just doesn't make sense to only keep it in FL for such a short time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they'll keep the EP through our visit in October (...

My guess is corporate sponsorship had something to do with the initial countries selected for representation in World Showcase. The last few years during the Food & Wine Festival, Australia has also been "showcased" like Spain -- speculation is that if a new country is added, it will b...

As many have already said, it's a really tough choice - but I'd have to say my top 2 are: Germany (for the Bavarian atmosphere) and the UK (for the Rose and Crown).

AK: Everest

E: Mission Space (although Test Track has more the keep you entertained and Maelstrom's cool air is welcome on a hot day!)

MK: Haunted Mansion & PoTC

At Disneyland, I loved the fact that IASW and Space Mtn queues were both outside.

Another vote for Stormalong Bay!

Although as a child where the only places to stay on property were basically the Contemporary, Poly, or the Fairways Villas and Treehouses......I longed for the Poly pool!
