I'm not a big fan of values, but then again, we spend quite a bit of time at the resort. As everyone here has stated, it depends on the amount of time you will be staying at the resort. If using the pool is a big deal to you, consider switching to POR (which also has beautiful grounds!).

I've been to Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Wet n Wild, Adventure Landing (in Jacksonville), and a few local waterparks in the Chicago area. TL is number 1 with me, with BB coming in 2nd. I'm a huge advocate of clean waterparks, and no one can compare with Disney in this area.

Spur of the moment is pretty much how we plan all our trips. :D Shortest time frame was the night before we left. Right now our next trip was planned one month in advance (which is loooooong for us), and we are just dying with anticipation. We took a Disney cruise which we planned about 2 and a half...

Ship Shape Health Club at YC

We're heading to Disney later in the month, staying at Yacht Club. Doing a little research (as my only other stay there was quite short) and came across this: Membership is free to Yacht Club resort guests for the length of their stay. Disney Vacation Club members may use the facilities free if they...

That would have to be when we were at Typhoon Lagoon in the wave pool. I had on a tankini (which was a bit too large, but still fit well enough to wear - better too big than too small). I was tiring out, so decided to head "ashore" when WOOSH! Here comes a wave! Knocked me right over! When...

Oh, I love Biergarten! I'm not a big conversation person (because of my hearing - or, I should say, lack of)...but I think it's a totally cool set-up. And my husband is a big fan of it also. Very authentic and very neat way to meet fellow Disney fans!

Pixar or Classic Disney

Do you prefer the old, classic Disney animated movies or the new high-tech Pixar flicks?

While I think the Pixar movies are a marvel, I love the classic animation knowing it was done by hand.

It's in very limited run on DCL now, and has been moved to the smaller Studio Seas. Sad to see this closing.

Only one day at Disneyland

My daughter and her best friend might have a day to play in LA next Spring. Should they check out Disneyland or California Adventure? Or is it possible to hit both parks? (They will be 20.) They've asked me for advice, but I just don't know what to tell them as I've only been to DL, and that was 15 ...

Non-park WDW activities

What's your favorite non-park activity at Walt Disney World? Even though Wilderness Lodge is our favorite resort (basically where we always stay now), I still love the days of hanging out in the hammocks on the beach of Caribbean Beach Resort. What other activities should we look for on non-park days?
