Re: Subsonic Running Club

Count me in! I was planning to run the Princess Half next year with some friends, and then maybe get to the Expedition Everest Challenge in 2015.

Re: Jedi Training Academy Tips

Drat! Let me know if the link continues not to work. It really was a lot of fun, and it filled my little guy with confidence (his little victory "dance" at the end is pretty cute).

Re: The Mexico Pavilion

The song is TOTALLY stuck in my head now, thanks! Is it just me, or does the Agent P thing in the pavilion take away from the ambience? We dined alongside the water, and the Agent P thing kept going off. It's near the ceiling on top of one of the buildings. It's surprisingly loud, and we felt it int...

Re: Candlelight Processional

We were there from Dec. 7 until Dec. 24 (nice, long break!!!). Early on, the crowds were low and we could get onto just about anything with less than a 30 minute wait, if any at all. By Dec. 22, the crowds were horrible--a 60 min wait for SSE, 30 min for Figment!!! We just enjoyed the decorations an...

Re: Candlelight Processional

We went on Dec. 23 (absolutely necessary to have the dinner package, as the standby line was INSANE). The narrator was Gary Sinise, whom we met briefly after the show. What a wonderful guy--he recognized our servicemen and women in the audience and gave a salute. This was our first Candlelight Proce...

Re: Jedi Training Academy Tips

Also, getting there early really is key. According to the cast members we talked to, all of the classes are usually full by 10:00 am, if not earlier. You must bring the child with you to sign up.

Re: Jedi Training Academy Tips

My little padawan on our recent trip. Thanks for the tips! We were able to get both my son and my nephew into Jedi Training Academy. Both of the kids had fun. As to the "questions" asked by Disney to determine if the kids can handle it---they weren't that big of a deal. What prepared my so...

Re: Jedi Training Academy Tips

Thank you! Now I know that I will have to take the kids with me early and let my elderly parents arrive later. Cross your fingers that we get everybody moving fast enough (very tough with my side of the family....).

Jedi Training Academy Tips

Does anyone have any tips for getting into the Jedi Training Academy show at WDW? We have only one day for DHS, and I have one boy who will be heartbroken if he doesn't get to play Jedi....

Passholder Login

I'm trying to log into the passholder section of the WDW site using my exchange certificate. It keeps giving me an error message: "W01040112049". My exchange certificate doesn't match either of the examples on the page. In the bottom right corner of the certificate, I have the following co...

Re: Christmastime Question

Oh, cool! I didn't know Yacht and Beach had a display. We will be there Dec 7-24 (yes, 18 days! a new record for me) and staying at BC for part of it. I can hardly wait for the Candlelight Processional and to see all of the decorations. This will our first time seeing WDW during the holidays.

Re: Weird and Odd Happenings at the Parks

I agree personally. I don't feel too bad about her phone, as I don't think she should have had it on her while at work. However, I have to wonder what Disney does about guests that are blatantly rude and harmful toward their employees. I can understand that they don't want each employee able to talk...

Re: Weird and Odd Happenings at the Parks

My brother-in-law is in the CP at WDW this year. He told us that they're not allowed to say anything to the guests or they get fired. His girlfriend, who is also in the CP, was bussing tables and a group from Brazil started berating her, telling her that since they pay a lot of money to come to WDW,...

Re: Suggestions for a 10 year old

Thanks for the suggestions! I hadn't thought about the Coral Reef. I bet my nephew would like that, and I know that my 4-year-old would. I didn't realize that there's a special needs pass. How do you get one? Between my dad and his limited mobility (don't want him to have another stroke) and my neph...
