Re: DCA Gets A Worthy Overhaul Budget

I was at the park yesterday. The bas-relief detail is great! Can't wait for the artists to come in and paint them.

Re: Disneyland Shanghai Announced

Disney and More posted what appears to be an early piece of concept art. It's gonna to be incredibly different than any other previous Disneyland incarnation.

Just got back! Thank you so much, Sub! You are an awesome guy! It was nice to meet your adorable family and share a trip on the new Small World. Here's iasw before our ride. It looks rather stormy, but the weather was mostly good. Just a bit of drizzle. http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1248/3265511696...

I ADORED the new Sleeping Beauty Castle Walk-Through. The quality is amazing. And there are a few interactive surprises. I also thought it had the perfect marriage of sets and projections. The projections 'enhanced' the scene, instead of overwhelming the scene, like in Nemo, which is more like a mov...

Love all the DisneySea art! Made myself a calendar on ShutterFly using all the high-res ones I've found. So beautiful.

The quality of this event is incredible!!!!! So very, very cool. The parade alone is worth the price of admission. It's on youtube somewhere.

Yes, use the bathroom. Teeheehee. I think I made myself go twice just for the experience. (But a friend went recently and didn't seem all that impressed. Of course, he's a cranky old buzzard, so that may play into it.) Want a full report!!!!!

Ahh Spaulo, I remember those Indiana Jones lines. Good times, good time. Consistently, the longest line has been Splash Mountain at both DL and WDW. To me, it screams, 'Disney, add more water-type attractions!' But I also think that the 'longest' is relative to the quality of the queue. I don't mind...

Once I start humming the original theme to El Rio del Tiempo, I can't stop. And then my brain starts to insert the Casa Bonita episode of South Park into the mix. So I'm left humming a few bars and then saying, in my best Cartman voice, "Yeah! Casa Bonita!"

It isn't pretty.

Probably just a fluke. I've never experienced anything like that, and I've been on them quite a bit, since it's one of my favorite things to do at Disneyland. Maybe just some seasonal cast members returning to college soon and having some end of summer antics???

I found it because one day I told myself, "Self, you love theme park music. You're gonna start collecting it since you don't have any other hobbies." And then the search began. 750 tracks so far! Couldn't help but run into this site during my searching. And like Chesire Cat said, "I h...

I run screaming when the Disneyland Hotel Fantasy Waters show queues up. What a poorly edited, syrupy nightmare. And when Jodi Benson over sings that Disneyland-themed song. Barf-a-rama.
