Subsonic Radio

My mom's would be Pirates of the Caribbean, and actually my whole family likes it, but when they built Splash Mountain at Disney World it became my favorite. I always liked rides where you get splashed!

I'm so excited for this one -- I saw the trailer and I was like, "those cars are so cute!" The cars look almost claymated. The rusty brown one looks like one of the bells in the orchestra in Will Vinton's Claymation Christmas.

I remember going on WDW's Space Mountain once when I was little, and it seems to me the ride really took place in the inky blackness of space -- without a bunch of stars projected on the ride like they have nowadays at Disneyland at least. Does anyone know whether that is/was ever the case, or was I...
