Re: Subsonic Radio Might Be Down / Changes

Very glad you're sticking around. This is the closest to Disney I'll get for many years. Fun to remember the good times through Subsonic. Thanks for all the work you do! Looking forward to what's next, hiccups and all.

Re: If you could design a ride..?

I'd design something for Hollywood Studios that was like the Great Movie Ride, but it would be a journey through animated features, not live-action. You'd visit the worlds of Disney and Pixar classics with a grand finale mashup. It would be the perfect ride to put your young children on in the middl...

It used to be one of the best deals in the park as the portions were quite large compared to other DL restaurants, but the prices were about the same. Wasn't there a big chicken dish that had plenty for two?

Good idea! I rarely request anymore as a result of the long queue. Out of curiosity, has the idea been considered to start a second request station? Maybe you could cut the number of available streams in half so that your bandwidth would remain constant, I don't know. Just an idea that has probably ...

Sometimes the going to the left side of the line works and sometimes it doesn't. On our last trip there, I was wanting to try it out, but I don't think we saved much time if any. I like the "secret" walkways, they do shave off a good amount of time. To get on attractions, I love doing the ...

Don't forget to photograph the "Disney Details" that Disney is so famous for. Calypso mentioned photographing the hidden Mickeys. That is a lot of fun! Also, try things like still lifes of the little towel animals that mousekeeping makes. One trip my parents photographed every meal they ha...

I love the Trail's End Buffet. Last time I was there, it was also the cheapest buffet on property. It'll still cost you in the neighborhood of $20 per adult, though, probably more now. When we stayed at the campground, we found it fairly quiet. If you have the type of vehicle you can fold down the s...

Those photos are great. I never got to experience the old Disneyland, but its neat to see the history.
If you like those photos, you'd love the book by Mell Kilpatrick who took a ton of photos during construction and of Disneyland when it first opened, too.

I think it would be interesting to go back to the time when Disneyland did this. On an episode some time ago, Paul Barrie told about what Disney was like in his father's time. It was a really interesting look back at what once was. Would have been neat to see.

Its that time of year again

Hello all, last year at this time, spaulo asked for good Disney related names for his fantasy baseball team. People came up with some good ones and I'd like to do it again. Last year my team was named Iger's Tigers and I had another called "Nine Old Men" Anyone have any suggestions for thi...
