Not many people know it, but Space Mountain--although it is very fast the entire ride--is not as fast as Thunder Mountain. The dip before the 3rd hill climb on Thunder Mountain is the fastest stretch of track on any ride in the Magic Kingdom

well, from what I've heard, the changes will only be to the end of the ride. (The kids chatting on their computers in Japanese to the end) Everything else will be left the same, just updated technology-wise.

Missin' Spaceship Earth

Listening to the ride through, I can still feel the rickety ride, hear the poor audio quality, and smell the musty old smell. As a person who used to ride this ride just about every other week, I really miss my Spaceship Earth fix.

I miss Jeremy Irons telling me about human communication :(

I never really like the ToT style of ride, but my friends did. I'm extremely afraid of heights. But I went just not to be left out. Just by closing my eyes so I couldn't see the landscape made it ok for me to ride, and the more I rode it I could eventually open my eyes and let go of the handrails, a...

I still don't understand the whole food and drinks thing. "Oh, I just bought it" Well, then finish the thing! Name a ride where they let you take food or drink in any park.

What makes a queue more tolerable?

What elements of a queue make it more tolerable? Theming: drawing you into the experience away from reality Hidden Stuff: Mickey's, fun facts (pirates playing chess), etc Straight line: seeing the goal Switch Backs: winding through space Hidden Lines: turning corners into more unseen queue Interacti...

Just be careful if you want to do the Fairways at Fantasia Gardens. They've actually warned people that play full golf courses not to play it because it throws off your game. Its a lot of fun if you don't mind getting a lot of 6's along the way. Fairways is more of a competition against the course t...

depends on the trash

I'll grab cups and big pieces that aren't gross. Especially if their out in the open. But most stuff is small or disgusting.

I have one friend that will pick up every piece of trash she sees in a queue to the extent it holds up the line a little

It's BioMetrics...Its the next phase in technology based evolution. What's the difference in the government asking for a subpoena regarding credit card records? You entered the park without your fingerprint, then you bought something. or you entered the park with your fingerprint, then bought someth...

The absolute middle of the Food and Wine Festival. Last Year they were giving Dining Plans away with a 6 night stay. And only the beginning and end of the Food and wine fest is busy. Plus Epcot is the only park really effected attendance wise.

considering the wait times for all of the attractions listed, I'm really shocked. I understand that most people on this site are people obsessed with CLASSIC Disney so things like Haunted Mansion are huge. But only 1 person put BTM and me on Space? I think the odds are against that. I mean I love Ha...

As long as PhotoPass exists...the hat will never come down. Unless Disney buys the rights to the Chinese theater in LA.
