Re: New ride closure rumors
I just got back from WDW and the Maelstrom Frozen overlay is the big talk right now. It is also well known that Soarin' is going to be changing. From what I gathered talking to some people is that the Soarin' changes will be different for both California and Florida. California will receive an upda...

Re: New ride closure rumors
SO news came out today that Fastpass+ reservations for Malestrom after September 28th are no where to be found. Other rides at Epcot do have availability for the date and dates beyond. This could either be a refurb or the start of the Frozen overlay. Disney has also started selling limited edition M...

New Peter Pan Queue
A permit that is linked below was submitted by TWDC today. The description of the property is stated as: MK PP Queue Phase 1,1450F Magic Kingdom Drive,BL JWMK4029. You could assume that it is the beginning steps to a new Peter Pan queue that has been talked about for a while. Any thoughts? http://or...

Re: MyMagic+
What's really nice is that currently if you had a selection that was switched to a tier one, then you can reschedule that fast pass for another tier one. Meaning you could have two tier one passes for EPCOT or MGM(HS) if you selected them already

Figment comic book
So at last year's D23 there was a hint of a Figment comic book. Well now it looks like the comic is coming out pretty soon. Below is a link about the comic as well as a few pages of it. What do you all think of it http://comicsalliance.com/felipe-andrade-jf-beaulieus-figment-1-will-be-the-best-looki...

Re: Refurbishment News
Exactly. That's probably why they are doing the renovations of the food courts in shifts rather than all three together. The walking would be annoying, but I haven't eaten there anyways. I would rather spend a couple of extra dollars at a sit down place for lunch

Re: Refurbishment News
The L.A. Prop Cinema Storage shop at MGM (DHS) is now listed as being closed for refurbishment from June 16th to Febuary 28th. That's extremely long for a simple refurbishment. There are talks that it is the future location of Starbucks, but nothing confirmed

Re: New ride closure rumors
One issue I easily see is how the queue will handle the crowds. One of the main reasons why the M&G was sent over to MK was that Disney didn't want people to wait for so long outside. The queue would need to be totally changed in my opinion.

Re: New ride closure rumors
So I have heard that supposedly Imagineer George Scribner confirmed that WDI is working on a redo of the ride with a Frozen overlay while on the Disney Wonder this past week. I am not sure he had any intention of saying what he did, but he supposedly did. There is rumor that Olaf will be narrating t...

Re: New ride closure rumors
They actually used to have the shop next to the Aerosmith ride. I believe in past SW weekends they used the empty building for other SW stuff such as replica spacecraft.
