Re: Jungle Cruise jokes
I adore all of the Jungle Cruise jokes, they are fantastically bad dad joke standard, its wonderful! When our family went on the ride we loved it so much, me and my dad (I am Sulley) were really laughing out loud. It got so much that the other families on the boat started to look at us a bit funny a...

Re: Creative Disney Crafting
Thank you everyone! I was quite pleased with how the cake turned out, I think I can try and do more like this in the future now!

Re: Character Meet and Greets
If any of you missed a character, WDW has a Cast Member who will forward your letter to the requested character, and you'll receive an autograph (maybe even a signed photo) in the mail. He's been doing it for years. That's how I got my son an autograph of Captain Hook! That is pretty cool! Although...

Re: Character Meet and Greets
We took our son last year for his first birthday. We read a lot of Disney books to him at bedtime (and we let him watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse occasionally) so he is familiar with the characters. We went to Epcot the first day and got to meet Pluto. The look of amazement on our son's face was price...

Re: Monsters University!
I liked Monster University, but I just felt it needed more, everything just a little more extreme. And I loved The Blue Umbrella!!! It was so cute and now I've seen Make Mine Music, it really reminded me of Johnny Fedora and Alice Bluebonnet! So sweet! And I'm going to have to buy matching wellies a...

Re: Sleep over at one of WDW parks, where would you pick??
Discussed this at tea time with my family... and I decided I would have to sleep over in the United Kingdom Pavillion in Epcot so as I didn't get homesick  My dad then suggested having a lock-in at the Rose and Crown, ordering chips from the chippy :P But we would have to ship in our own cask ...

Re: Character Meet and Greets
Yeh, cute-sie is a really good way to put it! I just hope they haven't changed the way the act to go with how they look, because Cinderella is so perfect when you meet her, if she went all cute on me I'd be devastated! And does anyone else find Aurora a bit distant when you meet her? If she started ...

Re: Character Meet and Greets
I googled it, and saw an article from April talking about changes, but they were minor as far as I could tell. Are you talking about something different? http://www.therotoscopers.com/2013/04/18/new-princess-look-invades-disney-parks/ This is the article I saw and in my eyes they look so different!...

Re: Character Meet and Greets
Oh my goodness I just learnt about the changes they have made to the princesses in the parks, the dress changes I am ok with but I think the hair and make-up is too far, they don't look so much like classical beauties any more, it even seems to have changed their personalities and deportment too, it...

Re: Character Meet and Greets
Our last trip, instead of autograph books, my daughters each had a pillowcase for the characters to sign. Folded it up about the size of an autograph book with a piece of cardboard inside to keep ink from bleeding through and to give it support. After each autograph, we would refold it for the next...

Re: Character Meet and Greets
Not entirely on-topic, but can you really call Pleasureland a theme park any more? Last time I was in Southport (which was, admittedly, a few years ago now) it was basically a dumping ground of mobile fairground rides that'd settled there :| Yeh, its a bit sad now :( Ever since Blackpool stole the ...

amy, yup they cool off, if you want to PM me I can give you details. Don't want to ruin the magic on accident for anyone. lol I might have to take you up on that offer myself, I hope to be a cast member someday and have a few little technical questions that the internet won't tell me and I don't kn...

Re: Character Meet and Greets
I think indoor rotations are 30 on 30 off. For outside characters on hot days it is 20 minutes on and 40 minutes off. What do they do in their off time? Simply go back inside and cool off? I'll let you know when I'm a princess, Amy :D We probably powder our noses or drink tea and eat little cakes! ...

Re: Character Meet and Greets
sfein- Thats so cute! When do you get to see all the villains? Do they only come out at Halloween because you don't see them all the time? But I imagine Governor Ratcliffe to be really scary in the parks! Mupsy90- I have loads of autographs too and I still love to meet all the characters! I am plann...
