Disney Store Mall of America
Does anyone know when the new Disney Store will open at the Mall of America? I couple of months ago they said September, but that's not looking too likely. Can't wait!

Re: Animal Kingdom Lodge Recreation
Wow, that night vision picture is amazing, yodiwan. I can't wait to see for myself! We'll be sure to explore the trails and report back about everything we see at the resort. If anyone has other ideas, be sure to let me know!

Animal Kingdom Lodge Recreation
We just got a deal in the mail and booked our stay at the Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Villas. This is our first time at the Lodge and we splurged for a savanna view. I know there is other recreation around the resort, animal viewing and feeding and such, but the official site is a bit vague. Any tip...

Re: Daytime Lagoon Show at Epcot
I suppose this is sacrilege, but I'd rather see a fabulous day time parade than the current Illuminations. Other than cost, I do think it could work and be popular. The lagoon at Epcot seems at least as large as the one at Disney Sea, and a parade could circle around so everyone could see. It would ...

Daytime Lagoon Show at Epcot
Does anyone know why there is no longer a lagoon show at Epcot? I never saw Surprise in the Skies, but got the old "A Day at EPCOT Center" from the thrift store and it looked real nice. We just returned from Tokyo Disneyland Resort and thought Epcot would benefit with added details like Di...

Too bad there isn't any trading...but I can see how it might get out of control!

Re: So, TDL is partly under water. . .
It was announced yesterday that Disney Sea will open on April 28th along with the Miracosta Hotel and the new Fantasmic! They're also resuming normal operating hours, albeit with reduced lighting. Here's the official announcement: http://www.olc.co.jp/wpmu/wp-content/blogs.dir/7/files/2011/04/201104...

Re: So, TDL is partly under water. . .
^The blackouts are due to the original earthquake, but apparently it was announce on Friday that blackouts in the Disneyland area are done. It looks like the most recent round didn't affect the power, thank goodness.

Re: So, TDL is partly under water. . .
Actually, Tokyo Disneyland isn't open yet, mostly due to rolling blackouts. The general thought is it might reopen by April 15th. I sure hope so, as we're heading there in May!

Re: Teakettle of Terror
Here's an update on the teakettle. After getting a case number from the CSPC, my mom called the Disney consumer line and did get connected with a claims adjuster, Barbie, at Disney World. Barbie told my mom to send them the teakettle using a UPS sticker that she would send via email. We don't have a...

^Yes, I was thinking the new mine train coaster. For the record, kiddie coasters make me sick (where's the Mr. Yuk emoticon when you need him?!). I think it's all the tight turns. Ah well, we'll have to wait and see!

Re: Fantasyland Expansion...
I'm not too excited about the circus theme. I love circuses, but can go at home every year. It looks like they're trying to draw the little kids. Or maybe the adults with the coaster? I'd love to see more for families (boys, girls, teens and adults) to enjoy together . I can't wait to be proven wron...

Re: Fantasyland Expansion...
So are there going to be two sections to Fantasyland now? Or will they try for the circus theme throughout? I'm a bit confused - hopefully y'all haven't already gone through this before!

Re: The Sorcerer's Hat - good, bad, or feh?
Earful Tower is the real symbol! Move that hat so I can see the beautiful theatre again!!! And while you're at it, give the Great Movie Ride a facelift and expand the Muppet area. Move Pizza Planet to Pixar Lane where it belongs. Stepping off soap box now...

Re: Fantasyland Expansion...
I'm a little late joining this discussion (over 50 pages?!), but I just don't understand the Fantasyland Expansion. I really enjoyed Toontown Fair and think the character houses will be missed. It wasn't terrible like California Adventure, and the new plans don't seem nearly so exciting (certainly n...
