Re: Added a Living Seas stream (and a pat on my back)
After years of abuse by the company, I finally lost nearly all interest in things Disney, but today I picked the wrong link in my URL bar, landed on subsonic, and saw the Living Seas channel. Aside from having difficulty breathing, what with my lungs crushed by nostalgia and all, I farking love it. ...

Hmm...that would have saved me some time, but all the movie data is from last month. Based on the level of confusion of the Disney reps on the phone, I don't trust most of the info I got. By the way, it seems that when you call any resort, you get the same call center. They just answer the phone dif...

Did some more research. Seems they also play movies at the Wilderness Lodge and the Contemporary. Still looking for more free things to do. There's a fair amount of stuff at the Animal Kingdom Lodge, including a talk at the flamingo pond and African folk tales at the fire pit. Those sound nice. Ther...

I found one photo here : http://www.omniluxe.net/wyw/crhshooting1.jpg I can't remember if this is the original configuration or not. It seems to be missing some stuff (like the wizard you could shoot in the wrist), so maybe this is a primordial version and they added things later. A number of the el...

Thanks for looking, Jacca. I was surprised when I couldn't find anything about this when I did a simple search. I talked to the people in the store next to the arcade (the one with the silent fiber-optic fireworks show that always fascinated me) and they weren't happy about the situation either. Aft...

old Contemporary arcade
Does anyone have any pictures or video footage of the old Contemporary arcade? Particularly the shooting gallery section... Man, I could hardly imagine anything cooler than that when I was a kid. I guess that's where The Wave is now? Last time I was there, the arcade was crammed into a shop and didn...

I agree with the line in the original article that asks if you can describe Mickey's personality. He hasn't had one for years. I can't say as I've ever cared about Mickey as a character, but Donald's cartoons are still hilarious and endearing. Donald, Goofy, and even Pluto have pretty distinct perso...

Hmm...looks like it opened at Epcot a few days before Disneyland. I wonder if it was designed from the start to be a twofer. While it sucks when they shoehorn some attraction clone in a place it doesn't belong, it's even more inexcusable when they do the same with something they built from the groun...

Sadly, I doubt I'd really enjoy the attractions in Epcot these days. When I had limited time in Epcot in the past, I'd hit Horizons, Figment, and El Rio. Horizons is gone, and Figment and El Ducko would make me barf. The Land might be worth it, just to hear the new narration, but frankly I think I'd...

I went into Epcot a couple years ago to look for some merchandise I'd heard was in the Japan store. It was gone when I got there, but I did get a nice meal from the Japanese fast food place, which I consider to be some of the best food in WDW. They put a charge on my credit card for the full price o...
