Re: Interactive Queue Etiquette

.That, and the agony of being without something you know darned well you should have brought is much, much worse than carrying something you don't use. Being a parent is the BEST thing, and for me, needing to carry all that stuff on my person really only lasted 2 or 3 years. Now that they're 13 and...

Re: Who else loves the buses at WDW?

Hey, guys, can I get in on that fountain dispenser? I'd love it right about now.

I also adore most of the bus drivers I've had, they're very friendly and entertaining :D

Re: Scary Thought

I genuinely don't know when the next time I'll go to Disney is. I know I'll definitely go again, tons more times in my life, but right now is when I need an escape from my daily life the most, and it's nearly impossible for me to get there! I really miss WDW :(

Re: Interactive Queue Etiquette

I used to go to Disney with no bags, ever. That was before the kids. Now I have to bring a backpack or two just to pack the essentials. I try not to whack anyone with it though! I remember the days post-diaper bag but pre-independence where my "purse" was actually a small leather backpack...

Re: Weather @ Disney

I think I've been pretty spoiled with my Disney weather- the worst I've gotten in terms of tropical storms was rain showers starting just as I was leaving the parks for the night anyway. But I was there for one ridiculously hot, sunny day, and the sun reduced me to a sweaty, energy-less, miserable m...

Re: What rides have you been stuck on when they broke down?

Weird! I wonder if someone really did protein spill during the previous show?! Is protein spill a more Disneyesque term for "puke"??? Yup! That's the term they actually use in the parks... HA, I find this hilarious. I'm going to start regularly using that phrase. I'll work i...

Re: Disneyland or Disney World

I was born in SoCal, so for years, Disneyland was perfection. Then, after visiting WDW, I really feel that while DLR is the original, that was the trial run; WDW, with all the beautiful land to buffer you from traffic and billboards, and the well-placed resorts, it feels much more the way I think W...

Re: Disney Tastes

ANYTHING from California Grille! I've never been to California Grille... what's the food there like? The food is fantastic. They've got some great flatbreads, I don't care for sushi, but my family does and they've loved it there as well. For main dishes they have classic filets, pork, chicken, and ...

Re: Interactive Queue Etiquette

I would definitely ask. I have a massive pet peeve about people not noticing the line is moving too, but my number one pet peeve is people in lines pretending other people don't exist. I've gotten stepped on, kicked, whacked with those stupid mountaineering backpacks, and ignored in lines too many t...

Re: Which attraction will you never get sick of?

Hmmm, gotta be anything in Epcot, Expedition Everest, RnRC, and Toy Story Mania. I understand people's points about the Fastpasses, though, as much as I love that queue, it's just too long to wait for a ride that's so short.

Re: Resort Spotlight - Shades of Green

I didn't even know this resort existed, but it's really nice! The decor reminds me a lot of Wilderness Lodge, and is very casual but charming. Our folks in the military are well-deserving of this. As someone who disapproves very strongly of war and violence, I love our military for all they do for us.

Re: Favorite show at WDW?

Oh gosh, favorite show... I think they literally might all be my favorite!! I absolutely adore Festival of the Lion King... and Beauty and the Beast, so those are probably my top two. But even though it's not technically a show, I really, really like Illuminations! And then... Ugh. This is too hard ...
