Re: Have U Taken Ur Disney Dream Trip Yet? When and Where?

What's Yours?? As part of our honeymoon last summer we spent 4 nights at the Grand Californian at DL with a nice view of DCA. I think it was pretty much our dream trip...we especially enjoyed spending time at the Mandara spa (which I didn't think I would like, but was awesome) :D ...buuuut unfortun...

Re: Disneyland Leap Year Feb 29th - 6am to 6am

Yeah, rogue, I think it's going to be pretty empty late at night. That's why I'm going :) So how did it go? By all accounts it seems like it actually stayed pretty crowded all night  "Disneyland got so crowded overnight that it had to shut the gates roughly between 9:30 p.m. Wednesday a...

Re: Disneyland Leap Year Feb 29th - 6am to 6am

I'm impressed that they had 3,000 people waiting outside to get into the park this morning. Apparently you had to have been waiting in line between 10pm and 11pm last night in order to get ears this morning... I'll be interested to see what the 3 a.m. crowds are like later because I feel like a lot ...

Re: Old Disney Movies You'd Love to See Again

Unfortunately the Song of the South doesn't appear to be coming into the public domain anytime soon. This is not a legal opinion, but assuming the work was copyrighted and published during the year of release (1946), and was properly renewed, it is at minimum eligible for a total of 95 years of prot...

Re: Old Disney Movies You'd Love to See Again

A friend just got Song of the South on DVD, but the quality is pretty bad (it skips every 10-15 seconds). Maybe another DVD player will fix the problem... Also, I just watched The Great Mouse Detective for the first time in about 15 years (even though this doesn't really count here because it's wide...

Hah, circa 1995, just a few months before the Indiana Jones Adventure opened. Pretty good promotional exposure for a ride! Thanks for sharing.

Favorite Disney Podcasts?

Hi All,

In addition to Subsonic, I've recently started listening to a "Window to the Magic" as it provides excellent background atmosphere/music while working on projects. Does anyone have any other recommendations for Disney podcasts?

Re: DCA Gets A Worthy Overhaul Budget

I'm thinking that the reason the refurb took so long, since they noted only a few tweaks, was that they were bringing it back to 2006 restoration. Some of the effects, such as the cannons and splashes, the fog, etc. have lost some of their punch over the years. So they aren't going to have movie ch...

The music helps to get me through all of the law school work I don't want to do...the Soarin' channel is especially good for brief writing (:
