But you have to realize that the electricity that powers the monorail can come from any source. Whether it be nuclear, which would be highly doubtful. Solar power, wind power, fossil fuels or anything. Of course I know hydro power is out of the question, since Florida doesn't have any dams in centra...

Oh trust me. I would love to have monorails instead of the buses, but the funding for the monorails come out of a different budget than people think. Plus the electricity for them is not cheap either. Not saying that they don't run their own power plants, but you have to ask is it economic for them ...

Sure does. Dialup is too darn slow. I've gone from dial up (56K) to DSL and now onto a cable modem. And I LOVE IT!

Club33Hopeful wrote:What is the cost of all of those busses and bus drivers? Also, you cannot factor the cost of guest satisfaction.
Well, as far as I know the cost of the bus drivers and just regular upkeep of the buses and also gas I guess is alot less than building all new monorail stations and tracks and trains.

I love Epcot's music. Some of it is realzing music, then you have some upbeat music that's going on. But, overall it's some great atomospheric music.

I've been to WDW a staggering 84 times since Dec 19, 2003. I went there every other weekend. Cool, one hour drive to Disney World. You must go every weekend. I go to WDW every other weekend. Plus, since my job works by a 9/80 work week, I have every other Friday off. So, what I do, I go to WDW Frid...

I've heard this a million times. It'll never happen. Even back in 1980 when they were constructing the track, it was $1 million per mile. And you also have to add monorail stations, monorail cars, power to run it, and I bet that today constructing more track beams would be even more money. I'd put i...
